“We had to mail a package at ups and parked in front of this cute little restaurant called The Block Deli we decided to go in and order lunch. The atmosphere is very friendly and it has a cute ocean/ beach theme. The service was quick and friendly and the wraps are a good size. They’re very reasonably priced. We will definitely be using them to cater our next event. I highly recommend you check them out in crescent springs!!“

“I don't get Penn Station like I used to. Older and can't handle the calories as often as I'd like. But when I want a Reuben, I go straight to Forest Park Penn Station. Haven't been disappointed yet. I get extra meat, extra cheese on the multigrain roll. Scrumptious! That multigrain roll is what you need. I usually pick up at the window. I have eaten inside. The place is clean and the people were friendly and professional. And the bathroom was clean! Service at the window was just as inside. I don't have a complaint about the price cause everything everywhere is high. My only complaint is why have restaurants stopped cutting sandwiches? If you're driving or just not going home, you have to hold the whole thing to take a bite. Please cut the sandwiches/hoagies.👍🏾“

“Today was my first visit to Izzy's and it definitely will not be the last. They get you from the moment you open the door. The smell and the warm welcome. That was enough to make me want to come back. But then I got the Ruben. I feel like I need to share this to help explain how great this ruben was, I am going through chemo treatments right now, and one of the side effects is a very sensitive mouth, like no hot (temperature) no spicy food, no acidic foods. So as you could imagine, that Ruben tore my mouth up. But it was so worth it. It hit the spot. I'd order another one tomorrow if I wasn't 2 hours away. We'll be back. For those potato cakes, apple sauce and another Ruben. And! The great service.“

“I ordered the Angus beef hamburger & it was one of the best I’ve had in Cincinnati & definitely the best that I have had at that price point. I liked the way they had the pickles & Dijon mustard on the side, I used both & the pickles seemed homemade. My side was coleslaw & that was delish as well. I ordered online for pickup & even though they had a lot of cars in the drive through, my order was made quickly. I definitely recommend!!“

“Food was great, the young man that took my order was polite. Although I’ve never a manager threaten to cut off someone’s fingers because they forgot to add a seasoning to a sandwich, then threaten to send them home if they forget again. If someone forgot something or messed something up, it happens, seems to me the missing seasoning was caught before they finished the order so there wasn’t any issue. Praise in public, criticize in private. Small restaurant with everyone in earshot, everyone heard the comments from the manager to the whom I believe was a fairly new employee. Other than that, food and service was great.“

“First penn station I’ve went to that was different then my usual. The place was super clean. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. My food was made right. It was made fresh. And both the man and women with the wrist brace on made sure my sub wasn’t sloppy. I didn’t have sauce dripping all over or meat falling out. The drink dispensers were clean and free of old sticky pop. Both were quick friendly and it was an overall great experience.“

“This Penn Station was AWESOME! The atmosphere was perfect! It was cool (extremely hot day today and the cool felt perfect). The workers were EXTREMELY kind and helpful. I wasn't sure what I liked I've only ate at Penn Station 2x in my entire life. The asked me questions and came up with suggestions based on what I liked! And the food was smashing, delicious, yummy and SO much more!!!! 😎❤ I'm really impressed with the patience and kindness the employees showed my daughter and me! They were all super kind!!! “I changed my review from 2-star to a 5-star. There was an issue with my order, and it happened a couple of times. At first, I didn't think much about it - stuff happens. People are making sandwiches and sometimes orders are a bit off. But when it repeated, I ended up writing a poor review.

The store manager immediately followed up and called me about the issue. He was very courteous, and to me, it speaks volumes about how he does care about his service and the customers. I feel bad to have harshly judged the establishment, but I think in the end we are all better for it. The store hopefully is more careful in making their orders, and I probably will think before I write a harsh review. I'll definitely do business with this store and recommend it to others.

This might seem much ado about an order of sandwiches, but there's more to it. The follow-up by the manager is what customer service is about. He went above and beyond. In an industry where the margins are slim and establishments are dealing with perishables, I understand the pressure the stores have.“

“I jumped over to this store right after checking out wandering monsters breweries opening night. Right as I got to the door I realized it was 9:00 PM and they were pretty much locking up but the guy and girl working were super nice and accommodated me so well by making food and allowing me to get an order in, even though I was a minute or two after closing. It’s great to see there’s still good service around and people that care and are super nice. The manager of this restaurant should give a bonus to those two working tonight because they really made my experience great where as I’ve been turned down many times when it’s close to closing time. “Went to Penn Station for lunch. My brother needed a ride to CEI for an exam. While I waited on him, I went to Penn Station.

I had a 9” Turkey-Bacon sub, French Fries, and lemonade. The sub was heavenly, right off the grill fresh. The French fries were perfect, not too much salt and some had a little skin still on them. The lemonade was also good. It tasted fresh squeezed, without a heavy, sugary aftertaste. I was the only one there so there was no delay between food preparation and eating. Since the Turkey-Bacon sub was on special, the price was right too. I throughly enjoyed lunch.“

“First, a great shout out to Jersey Mikes. I’m a nurse at a nearby hospital. In the middle of the Coronavirus Pandemic we were struggling with COVID patients and somebody said “Jersey Mikes dropped off a huge pile of subs in the break room”. Thank you sooooo much!!!! So, we stopped by on a cold Friday afternoon in May to re-pay the favor. I had a ham one at the hospital and it was awesome. I don’t like mayonnaise or dressings, but they have the own special vinegar and (?) and it was great. Had a turkey #7 this time without seasonings because my wife got it and got the full one. Way too much food (enough for 2 meals!). Really good experience both times. All the meat is fresh sliced. Thanks again, loved the sandwiches. Take out or delivery only when this was written.“
