“A lot of these reviews are kind of harsh. Me and my wife went here yesterday and we're overall satisfied. Our sandwiches were made exactly as well asked. The place was VERY clean. My only slight complaint was MAYBE customer service was slightly low. With that said both employees were still tolerable. Plus you can't beat a sandwich, cookie, chips and drink for 10 bucks. Again Overall satisfied. I say give them a try.“

And the BBQ bacon sandwich should have chicken on it. But it was pretty good. I’d say next time I’m trying that chicken bacon ranch. But only time will tell if God allows there to be a next time. “I ordered the Angus beef hamburger & it was one of the best I’ve had in Cincinnati & definitely the best that I have had at that price point. I liked the way they had the pickles & Dijon mustard on the side, I used both & the pickles seemed homemade. My side was coleslaw & that was delish as well. I ordered online for pickup & even though they had a lot of cars in the drive through, my order was made quickly. I definitely recommend!!“

“I don't get Penn Station like I used to. Older and can't handle the calories as often as I'd like. But when I want a Reuben, I go straight to Forest Park Penn Station. Haven't been disappointed yet. I get extra meat, extra cheese on the multigrain roll. Scrumptious! That multigrain roll is what you need. I usually pick up at the window. I have eaten inside. The place is clean and the people were friendly and professional. And the bathroom was clean! Service at the window was just as inside. I don't have a complaint about the price cause everything everywhere is high. My only complaint is why have restaurants stopped cutting sandwiches? If you're driving or just not going home, you have to hold the whole thing to take a bite. Please cut the sandwiches/hoagies.👍🏾“

“A group of us went there in between games and they were fast and courteous. The manager made our kids a bunch of chocolate chips for free. They were so happy and shocked. What a kind gesture.“

“When a deli has two whole pages dedicated to different iterations of the world best rueben, you know you’re in for a treat. \n\nI had the turkey rueben, which was great. The rueben comes with a potato pancake, or switch it to another side if you prefer (definitely just get the potato pancake). \n\nAs stated on their website, some of the equipment and seating may have changed throughout the years, but they are still serving the original recipe from 1901.“

“I learned last evening that I needed to provide 25 lunches for a meeting today. I visited the store about 8:30 this AM and spoke with Sam. I promised the 25 box lunches by 11:30 but called at 10:30 to say they were ready. The boxes contained sandwich, chips, cookie, condiments and napkins- all I needed. Sam had them bagged up and ready for my transport. Great service and complete lunch box!“

“I have been her numerous Times! Always great!! Today … not so much! The “ manager” was rude and down right mean!!! I have gotten the mini croissants for parties many times. They are ALWAYS PRE CUT! I ordered 36. She would not cut them and they stuffed them in a bag too small and many were smashed flat….. not the look I wanted for the shower I am giving!!! How disappointing!!!“

“Go here often when I'm out doing Instacart an love the staff here. Always has such a great atmosphere in evenings when I come an the employees are fantastic as well. They're wonderful to talk to an remember my normal order as well. Will continue to be a regular spot because the food an service is great an it's in a convenient area for me as well.

Parking: Kind of a tight parking lot but the evenings there's a bit more parking available“

I care about customer service because my family owned several restaurants years ago in Florida and I know the importance. From the moment any customer walked in the store, Dan immediately acknowledged each and every one of them. “This location never disappoints! The manager, Mary, was very kind and greeted us as soon as we walked in! She made the experience fun and we didn’t feel rushed like at other locations! I got the Philly add teriyaki and it was great! Very filling and the flavor hit right on point! My wife got the Italian and she wanted to go get another lol! The subs are always top tier here.. the lemonade and sweet tea mix is by far the best around!! Great staff, great atmosphere, we will definitely return!! “I changed my review from 2-star to a 5-star. There was an issue with my order, and it happened a couple of times. At first, I didn't think much about it - stuff happens. People are making sandwiches and sometimes orders are a bit off. But when it repeated, I ended up writing a poor review.

The store manager immediately followed up and called me about the issue. He was very courteous, and to me, it speaks volumes about how he does care about his service and the customers. I feel bad to have harshly judged the establishment, but I think in the end we are all better for it. The store hopefully is more careful in making their orders, and I probably will think before I write a harsh review. I'll definitely do business with this store and recommend it to others.

This might seem much ado about an order of sandwiches, but there's more to it. The follow-up by the manager is what customer service is about. He went above and beyond. In an industry where the margins are slim and establishments are dealing with perishables, I understand the pressure the stores have.“

“First penn station I’ve went to that was different then my usual. The place was super clean. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. My food was made right. It was made fresh. And both the man and women with the wrist brace on made sure my sub wasn’t sloppy. I didn’t have sauce dripping all over or meat falling out. The drink dispensers were clean and free of old sticky pop. Both were quick friendly and it was an overall great experience.“

“Went to Penn Station for lunch. My brother needed a ride to CEI for an exam. While I waited on him, I went to Penn Station.

I had a 9” Turkey-Bacon sub, French Fries, and lemonade. The sub was heavenly, right off the grill fresh. The French fries were perfect, not too much salt and some had a little skin still on them. The lemonade was also good. It tasted fresh squeezed, without a heavy, sugary aftertaste. I was the only one there so there was no delay between food preparation and eating. Since the Turkey-Bacon sub was on special, the price was right too. I throughly enjoyed lunch.“
