“When planning a small birthday celebration for our daughter the first thought of food that crossed our mind was Great Lakes Grinders. We contacted them and easily selected a tray of our favorite grinders along with our favorite pasta salad and potato salad. The day we picked everything up was a breeze! The excitement to be able to eat a tray of grinders and sides in February was over the top! Every bite was amazing! Out of town friends experienced their first taste of Great Lakes Grinders and shared their appreciation for the deliciousness! There’s nothing quite as satisfying as a grinder!“

“I love this location. The staff are always so kind and welcoming. I bumped food down to 4 stars (normally a 5) but the last couple weeks I’ve been here we have had pink burger on the inside every time which is a little disappointing. Hopefully they can figure that out because the pink in the burger really grosses me out and I’m pretty sure everything is supposed to be well done. I’ll be back regardless, it is normally an outstanding location and again, the staff are always a 10/10. Be kind.“

“Come here every time we r at the park. My dad loves the cheese on a stick and I absolutely love the fresh cut fries! If they make em crispy enough they r probably the best fries money can buy! We will definitely be coming back this years trip to cedar point !! Btw if u see the ketchup on my fries in the picture it’s because a cop walked up and cuffed me and told me I had to eat ketchup with my fries 🍟. I never eat fries with ketchup but in order to avoid a fine I did that time. I was GUTTED FAM!“

“Incredible! Drove through with a carload of friends and ordered a bunch of different things (burgers, fries, shakes). The food was about what you'd expect from a roadside ice-cream stand, but it was reasonably priced, portions were big, and it was made fresh.

The shakes were especially good. We'd been told to try the peanut butter shake, and it was definitely worth it. Chocolate, butterscotch, and vanilla were also very good!

It's a family-run establishment. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. Highly recommend if you're looking for reasonably priced dinner and dessert in the Sandusky area. Will DEFINITELY go again.“

“Here only to praise the woman working alone last Thursday night who fed my starving family and put up with our weird little requests (Ranch dressing on an Italian sub! My kids are crazy!) She was kind and went the extra mile to make sure our sandwiches were exactly what we wanted. Super sweet and close to Cedar Point! (I’ll forgive Subway’s ridiculous prices because of her service!)“

“I’ve eaten at the subway a good handful of times since I work in the area. The staff has always been super friendly, and even today I got a call about a substitution, and the guy, Toby (I think his name was) was super polite and professional. Whenever I go in, I am greeted, and welcomed. Definitely going back again.“

I called and ordered 8 pizzas, 30 breadsticks, and 3 two liters of pop and these guys were fantastic!!!!!! Our order was delivered to the hotel in 30 mins and they brought plates, napkins, & cups! Okay but can we PLEASE talk about Andy’s China Dragon Express for a minute?! Walking in here instantly took me BACK because this place still feels like the ORIGINAL Taco Bell restaurants once did years ago 🌮😭❤️

The inside still has that old-school atrium feel, the classic table setup, the retro vibes, the glowing menu boards, and that nostalgic dine-in atmosphere that so many places have sadly gotten rid of over the years 🥡✨ Honestly it felt like stepping straight into the 90s in the BEST possible way!

And let’s not forget… this local gem was once recognized as one of the TOP Chinese restaurants in the nation?! 👏🏆 That framed newspaper article on the wall is SUCH a cool piece of local history!

This location does not only sell nuggets and no, classic pretzels only take between 10-12 minutes and are almost always available. They don't make sweet almond pretzels with every batch because there just isn't enough interest (sometimes they don't even sell one sweet almond classic pretzel a day). And it's never been out of the new dragonfruit mango frost drink since it's came in. This store is top notch and anyone who says otherwise is wrong!“

Employees were very nice and when my food was brought out it was super fresh and hot. They even threw in two free apple pies and fries. Thank you kfc!“
