As soon as we were seated our server Jenn (Jennifer O) got down to business with us. She was calm, attentive and friendly. “Charlie's was a dandy little diner we found during our recent trip to Cleveland. The first thing you notice is the very flashy looking exterior of their building which I thought looked awesome. The inside of the building is quite small with limited seating but was very well kept and clean. Their menu consists mainly of breakfast options and hot dog options. I went the hot dog route trying a Chili Dog and one plain with stadium mustard. The stadium mustard was just a dijon variation and was fine. Their chili was excellent with great flavour and just delicious on the dog. The dogs themselves were 100% beef and were the best part as it should be. Great flavour and a nice snap to them they were just stellar. The onion rings I got as a side I would rate as average. The service was pretty darn good for us as well. All in all a very good diner stop for us.“

“This is one of my new favorites in the Cleveland Area of the only place I visited in a long time that gives you 2 Nice Sized Pieces of Catfish, 4 hush puppies, Coleslaw and FRESH CUT edible FRIES all for one price. I have been here 5 times and they have am Amazing Chicken Philly Sandwich these both items are seasoned to perfection and not to salty like most places you can barely tolerate the heavy seasonings from something who has to watch their salt intake. Jumbo Chicken Rolls are a most have my family love those as well! Most places I have to toss my food. Customer Service is always friendly and patient staff is always with a good attitude fast service and clean location. Compliments to the chef staff and the great owner!!! Glad this business exists.“

The establishment provides great food, great pricing, personable and timely bar staff, and conversation with anyone and everyone. “We reviewed Hello Bistro in Beachwood OH, well JRK did because Joe was too busy "working"...... Tried the Tex Mex burger – looked great, but it was tiny and bland. I was expecting flavor fireworks, but it was more like a flavor fizzle. The avocado was the highlight though! The fries were fresh and tasty, and the house-made ranch? Chef’s kiss. As for the chocolate chip cookie… I thought it was fresh, but it was more like a sad, store-bought rock. Tex Mex Burger 5.5 Hand cut fries 6.1 House Made Ranch 8.2 Chocolate Chip Cookie 2.0“

“(Last visited September 20, 2023.) Hanging out in Cleveland, OH on business and it's #WingWednesday! So I did some searching on Yelp to see who's got the best in the area! A place called Characters Bar & Grill kept coming up. So here's how things went!\n\nAtmosphere/Appearance: This place is like... at the EDGE of Cleveland's city limits. Lol. Brookpark Road or something. Once I pulled up it just felt like a nice, neighborhood spot! It does have a private parking lot, big outdoor section (where we sat) and plenty of space on the inside. It's a traditional setup. TVs everywhere, random swag and decor all throughout, plenty of high-top tables for seating and a big bar rail. The energy was lively and the music was so random. Lol. If you've been, you know what I mean.\n\nService: I can't remember the name of who took care of us, but she was funny, sweet and just made sure we had everything that we needed. \n\nFood: While here I was able to try a few wings, so let's begin. First up were the Mike's Sweet Island Heat. For the record, if you order 10 wings, you can split them into 2-5s for an extra $1.00 if you want separate flavors. Also, on the menu there are 3 "types" of sauces that they offer. The first kind are Buffalo based sauces, the 2nd are barbecue based sauces and the last is "other". Lol. Anyway, these looked amazing, were super saucy and were a decent, seemingly normal size. I got lots of good fruity notes and aromatics as I put the wing to my nose. After tasting the flavors carried through with a bold, fruity, rich flavor. There was good spice and it felt like a chipotle based spice. It was a unique flavor for sure that I hadn't tasted before. Next up was Lenny's Honey Sriracha Teriyaki which is a mouthful of a name, but the flavors showed up! It was a good teriyaki base with citrusy lemon flavors that actually made my lips pucker just a bit. These weren't spicy at all, but it was missing something, I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Next up was Chipotle which I was lead to believe would be the hottest sauce on the menu based on it's placement on the menu, but I was wrong. This one did have some GOOD heat to it. The ingredients were balanced very well that created very bold, rich, hearty, chipotle flavors. I really liked this one. Next up were the Mild Buffalo. These were super saucy, juicy and had a very straightforward traditional Buffalo flavor that had some excellent flavor. The bleu cheese to go with these was a creamy, mild sauce that would cool your mouth down if you can't handle the spice. Next up was the XXX Buffalo which is actually the hottest sauce on the menu. The sauce was a bit watery which is a dead giveaway that it wouldn't be as spicy as it claims to be. It was still delicious, but the spice took a while to kick in, but it's nothing to write home about. It was like a kicked up Buffalo.\n\nValue: It's a sports bar, so the food won't be terrible expensive. I was there on Wednesday and wings were $1.00 each. Not bad at all considering how expensive I've see some. They even had $5.00 steaks this night, but I can only imagine them being a Salisbury steak or something. Lol.\n\nIn conclusion, I had a blast here. The food was great, the people are awesome, I felt welcomed and it just felt like a good place to hang out! I look forward to returning and trying some more flavors!“

“I came in to this restaurant for the first time tonight and was immediately greeted by a friendly employee Stephanie who I’m sure had a long day as it’s almost 10pm. Food was awesome and great staff!“

“Local West makes a great cuban with tender pork and delicious bread. I had enough to easily split with aomeone. Also, their sweet potato fries are awesome! However, my wife's burger was overcooked to the point of being quite dry, which is a shame because it was flavorful. This place is worth coming back for a second chance, though.“

I’d been waiting for a halal menu, and finally got to try it last Sunday for breakfast with my group around 10:30 am. We ordered the Egg Benedict Spicy Polano, Avocado Toast, Big Steak Omelette, Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Vanilla Creamy Cold Foam Brew, Coffee, and Chicken Fajita Omelette. It's a great spot with plenty of options. Our server, Jai, was very friendly and prompt, and the order was taken with perfect accuracy something that often gets messed up at other places when we go out as a large group!“

“My favorite place to grab food in First Energy stadium. It’s a bit limited because it’s in the private club section. That being said, I have season tickets in the club section! Best time to grab a burger is right after the first quarter or third. They stay open a little bit after the game to. There’s a few beers on a tap and a more canned options to select from.“
