“Old School Deli atmosphere takes you back to a time of homemade Deli style sandwiches and sides. I always look for a local gem when I travel and this was one of them. Ordered a corned beef New Yorker on rye and it was stacked with corned beef and slaw. If in town, make a stop and you won't be disappointed.“

They charged us $8 for the water we didn't have a choice in. When they came around during the meal they refilled with thankfully free water. Be aware that you may need to specify you want normal water like most other places would serve you. Kind of sus.Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options, mostly in the salads or vegetables. “the food we have gotten from there so far is delicious! But we where disappointed when we asked if we could get the shareable wings and asked for half the wings in one sauce and the other half in another sauce and the waitress said sure, then when the cook brought out the wings they where all done in the same sauce and we said something and he was like we don’t split sauces on orders. Why wouldn’t you allow for two different Sauces on shareables. He was kinda rude about it, and the service was iffy. At the very least before they made our wings we should have gotten the curtsy to pick our own sauce.“

On tap, perfect blend of sweet and dry, and the pineapple flavor isn't overpowering. I liked it so much I had a second.For food, we got six Buffalo wings, a basket of onion rings, and the Academy burger and fries. The wings were literally everything I want from a chicken wing: fresh, hot, tossed but not soaked in sauce. Some people might prefer a crisper wing - as far as I could tell, these weren't battered or floured (although I could be wrong) but for me they were perfect. The onion rings were fresh out of the fryer and not too greasy, so that's an immediate win. We didn't end up eating much of the burger, but that's through no fault of the burger! The portion of it I did have was well cooked, juicy, and thick. Great quality burger, I just wish I was hungry enough for it! And, of course, my fiancé's star of the show: the fries. Fries were the perfect thickness, not too thick and not too tiny, freshly cooked, and the seasoning on them was top notch. I think my partner ate more of the fries than any other part of the meal.All this and our meal and drinks came out to about $47! I literally did a double take at the bill because I couldn't believe it was so low.I want to give a special shout out to the manager (again, so sorry I forgot your name) for being so helpful and kind. Without him our experience would still have been great, but he was an absolute star.“

The kiosk made it super easy for two people doing BYO Burger options, and we upgraded to get the meal option and get the side salad, which was incredably fresh and a great portion size. Even with a bit of a mixup on Uber Eats’ end with the delivery driver, the food still held up well and the Sweet Bourbon Bacon Burger, fries, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shake were delicious! Not sure about the mixed reviews here, we’ll have to try coming in person sometime and see how it is, but as it stands right now, Wayback is a great addition to a VERY long list of good burger places in the area.“

“Greatest Burger in the City period, always cooked fresh right in front of you. I'll go here before I go to other Burger joint because can't nobody touch them for quality and consistency. My only issue with them is they're extremely high priced. I paid $39.00 for two burgers two fries and two milkshake. Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's, Rally and all them other Burger joints ain't worth my money they have all went down the tube and I won't waste a dime at any of them never again. I work too hard for my money to get garbage food.“

If you go during the evening, you'll see familiar friendly faces there watching the game enjoying some wings and drinks! The servers are always good for a laugh and it's a very nice atmosphere. If I'm feeling a burger, I usually go with the Spanish Beef when I want a little heat. I love lamb, and I've never had a lamb burger before coming to BurgerIM. Now I like them more than gyros! I guess they eliminated that. Bummer. They also made some changes pertaining to rewards. Got some complementary cornbread that was extremely moist. What this place lacks most is a menu and some price transparency. Some quickly typed out sheet with some prices would really make choosing a meal easier. The menu on google is not accurate, which we found out upon arrival, and he no longer serves one of the things we were planning on getting when we chose this place. There apparently is not an accurate menu to be had. Then I thought since the online menu said 15$ for a special and he told me it comes with 2 sides, that our two specials with sides would cost 30, but he charged 37. I didn’t ask about it, but probably should have. Oh well. Would have been nice to get a pitcher to refill our waters with as well, is someone who is more on top of getting refills, or something like that. My wife used the bathroom and said it smelled so strongly of air freshener that she had to hold her breath the whole time. But to reiterate, the food was in contrast to the rest of the experience and was quite good. Definitely fresh, especially for American food“
