“Please go back to the old way of making subs!! The bread isn't the same - the spices and mayo - not enough. You guys used to have the most amazing sloppy sub. Now we have to ask for it to be sloppy and it never really gets there. Subbys used to be our favorite. We miss it.“

“Ordered multiple party platters from this location. They were extremely accommodating as we wanted to deviate off the established menu offering. They were so nice - allowed us to change out meat selections and breads without any fuss at all. Picked them up an hour before the event, and sandwiches and toppings were all fresh and delicious. “I got the Tony and it was excellent. The menu is limited, might want to expand sandwich choices even just using different combinations of the same meats / cheeses and toppings. Sides and salads are limited, again might want to look at expanding. The grocery concept, I get it biggest complaint of downtown residents is lack of a grocery store. There selection is limited and didnt look like they covered the basics. I would either get in or out of thar business and maybe focus on being a sandwich shop.“

“We ordered takeaway for Thanksgiving, and everything was cooked to perfection—the lasagne, brie, and olive cake were outstanding. The flavors were exquisite, and the staff was friendly and very service-oriented. Parking downtown Dayton was easy, and we’ll definitely be back.“

“I stopped in at this location yesterday afternoon. I ordered a club sub and it was very delicious! I’m writing this review to just say that their staff were EXCELLENT! They were all very friendly and engaging, you could tell that even though they had to go to work, they were determined to have a great day and be upbeat. They were striking up conversations with their guests and almost every one of them said bye to me as I was leaving. I hope you look back on your time sheets from Friday December 12, 2025 at 2PM and give everyone that was staffed something generous for Christmas on their paychecks!“

“Hands down, I think DiBella's makes some of the best subs (both hot and cold) in the area. The amount of meat on the small subs is easily more than that on a Subway footlong (and MUCH better)! Management also seems to care about customers. When I recently wrote about an issue with being overcharged, I received a reply within an hour with an offer that MORE than compensated me for the difference. Keep it up!“

“This is become my new Subway since my old one got bought out and all the workers were replaced with the family of the new owners if you know what I'm saying. “On 9/7/24 after 2pm a female worker that was darkskin and I think she had dreadlocs serviced me. From the very beginning she was polite. She was very professional and patient and made my sandwich perfectly. I must say the location was very clean, fully stocked and organized. By the end of my transaction I was happy to leave a tip. Lily was there bow times we came in and she remembered my name the second time.

The rest of the staff were completely different from both experiences, but both outcomes were top-tier.

It seems like a well-oiled machine, and every bite was just as good as the first.

Honestly, really impressed with the consistency of the quality and the top tier service provided by these workers.

I love that whenever you order a small fry you get a giant mountain of fries.

“Originally went to the Subway in Englewood, but was immediately uncomfortable and felt unwelcome by one of the girls working d/t her rolling her eyes and having an attitude when I walked in for a sub- so I left and came here instead. I had a WAY better experience with the nice young lady working at Hoke Rd location last night & I was sure to let her know she was doing a great job and that I appreciated her kindness and friendly customer service . I literally NEVER leave reviews , but this struck me for some reason tonight.
