The bread looked a little black, and tasted fairly bland. The sandwich was well seasoned, but even with all of the juices leaking out, the sandwich still tasted very dry and too salty. “We started going for trivia on Monday nights. Rob does a great job as trivia host. When we are able to play trivia, the servers do a great job and the food is good. We don't play every Monday so I have to call to reserve a table for trivia when we do play . This week I called three times to try to reserve a table for trivia starting six days ahead of the day we wanted to play. I was promised call backs to confirm whether we got the table which I never received. When I called the third time (Friday before trivia Monday), I was told there was no room for us. It is getting too frustrating to try to get a table for trivia on Monday nights.UPDATE - I did get a call from Aubrey offering us a table for trivia after a cancellation. I appreciated that follow up and service. I am sure it is difficult to juggle the demand for tables on trivia nights.“

“Gotta give this place credit for consistency and good flavors. Tough location to get to, but used delivery several times and always have gotten great sandwiches and they order is always accurate. I especially like the option to slim cut, meaning pull out excess bread from hun; less carbs and you still get crunchy bun. Not local, but one of the better restaurant chains around.“
“First time at Penn Station, and it was great! The lemonade and the French fries were a big highlight for me. Fresh squeezed lemonade that tasted delicious with hot fries that reminded me of five guys. The fries were great, even though they are only seasoned with salt, and I needed to add a bit more salt because they came a little too bland for me. The employees were very nice and worked quickly, I didn't see any lazing around and felt like they enjoyed their jobs. The building was too cold.. I was freezing in there! Good thing I didn't check tripadvisor or I wouldn't have went to this place for lunch. Most of the previous reviews on here don't do it justice. Well the cheesesteak sandwich was the best I've had. The sauce on it was amazing. The kids really enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. To be fair, it is a bit pricey. For a couple $ less this would be awesome. But at this price point I would go back when I'm in the area for a visit for sure. Wished they would put one in Indy. Cheesesteaks here are about average at most of our sandwich shops. Upon further review, I couldn't help but notice that most negative reviews involved delivery which makes me think that quite possibly, the problem is not with Jimmy John's or the employees at this location but rather the delivery service used. Maybe the delivery service employee needed to feed themselves and/or their family and took part of these people's order knowing that the blame would fall on the employees of Jimmy John's.
