“I usually love this place but tonight's curbside order was an hour and a half wait (usually curbside pickup is a half hour)! They now also have signed up with other delivery services so they are super busy. Our food wasn't ready when it was promised. I went in and there were about 3-4 empty tables! You'd think that with the long wait the tables would be backed up too. I mentioned to the manage that if I had known there were tables available I would have dined in instead of take out. She said they try to get their dine-in customers their food before the take out. 🤦 Really Dewey's, what customer wants to know that their service is not as important as another customer? First job was a dishwasher at Gustos way back when so I prefer mom and pops authentic food places over olive gardens and fast food pasta chains. I’ll be honest, I did the “make sure she sees the tip” thing. And I asked. Please make the best smoothies ever. Then I said. I don’t even care about mine. Make hers perfect.

So here’s my review. I’ve been stopping here for years now. Every time, they’re amazing smoothies. Tipping doesn’t make them better or worse. And it may have been a placebo effect…but I don’t think so.

Normally my large smoothies last me all day. Sip here and there and enjoy it. I dunno what magic they/she (wasn’t paying attention to who made it. I’m so sorry) did. But holy…baby jebus rocking in a cradle with RNGesus. This smoothie is already gone. Time frame…bought at 12…gone at 1. That’s a record. I want this flavor in my mouth. Now. And more. When my family took her first sip…she said the hair stood up in her arm and she got tingles.

Today these two girls (women I know…but I’m old now) made my day much better. And it made hers better. And for a few extra bucks they deserve every penny.

“My meal was great, but things could have gone better. My moms meal came out and it was ice cold (a hot dish) and by the time the waiter came around everyone was nearly finished eating so she sent it back without getting something else. We also ordered an appetizer and for the price, an egg roll sampler, it was basically 4 rolls cut in half. We got a hot crab dip also and the bread slices that came with it where practically inedible due to how hard and burnt they where.“

I was there yesterday around 530 or so, there were two staff members(a young lady and a young male), who were cursing and playing while customers were in the lobby. i ask the young man could I have my drinks because he qas so focused on her, that he seemed distracted. (puppy love, I get it). Moreover, I'm all for the young folks taking charge, but the owner should invest in more customer service training. with that being said, I know that the product sales itself, so the owner probably isn't worried about customer service. “Chick-fil-A sandwiches have always been a great go to for that chicken sandwich itch. I also do love their salads as they are pretty hefty with the quantity you get in each bowl. The quality of the lettuce is also nice compared to other food chains. The waffle fries are good, but I have experienced at the Willoughby location that they will go very heavy on the salt sometimes where my family and myself just cannot eat them.

My real only complaint is the drive thru service. I would say that in my last 10 visits here, 3 of those times I was missing food. Now, it is my error for not double checking my bag, but in my defense I have been to other food establishments that I have not had issues with any of my orders exceeding at least 30+ trips. This location has dual lanes, and sometimes you can feel pressure of being in lane waiting for food when the car behind you has already been serviced. With the amount of staffing, I feel they need to have someone double check orders.

The staff though is polite and kind, which is nice. I feel the accuracy in which the orders are packed needs to be checked.

Update: I had an issue last night 3/7/25 where my order was missing a sandwich. I noticed this once I got home. I called the store with no answer. I was instructed to leave a voicemail which referenced that I would receive a call back. I never got a returned call. I went back to the store the next day and brought in my receipt showing the clerk how my order was incomplete. They remade the sandwich but referenced to me that they would only do this, this once as they only remake food same day or send me a coupon in mail. Here is my issue, if you aren't picking up the phone and are not returning my phone call as you stated you would, your establishment will not be getting $7 from me for free. I WILL receive my food. I do not want to rely on the USPS to give me a free coupon. If I have to drive back up to your store because of your error, you should be more welcoming and apologetic. Heck, give me a free fry to compensate my gas. Sadly, this left a strong bitter taste on my mouth.

The fast food industry can be very tough on stores depending on location. But you also gain high rep for service quality. Chick-fil-A usually pushes itself as setting a high bar for quality in food and service. So far, my opinion is dropping into the negative areas though as I am continuing to get bad service quality at this location.“
