“The best Chinese food in Durham by far.Their food is delicious (black pepper chicken is now my new favourite) and they really fill the containers! The prices are great for the amount and quality of food you get. Most importantly the staff have always been amazing. I’ve been ordering for over 5 years and they go above and beyond to make their customers happy (they include lots of pepper every time that I ask, they’ve rushed to make an order right after opening so I could get it to deliver it for lunch, their delivery times are always a few minutes early, etc.) this definitely is a local small business whose deserves five stars and support! Thank you guys again!“

“This place is a hidden gem for lovers of Chinese food! Especially for those rhat don't want/can't have msg! Their Cantonese chowmein is sooo good and so is their General Tso chicken! So many options and neverca dissapointment! Always a favourite with my family of 5 :)

“Went to our regular 22 year spot for Chinese food on Christmas Day takeout in 2024 and they were closed. Decided to try House of Wong. A wonderful young lady, Sammy took the phone order with precision. Went to pick up the dinner 20 minutes later, she had the order ready to go...along with a phone at each ear taking additional phone orders, such a pleasant person. She was so professional it was amazing and so was all the food, absolutely fantastic and made ou day, it made our Christmas dinner with family very special. “Tried it last Sunday cause Pita Delight n Submarine is closed and Im already here, order Beef w black bean sauce on rice n noodles Lunch special comes w pop for $10, Very good portion beef, veggies were crisp n fresh I was told new management! “Have been ordering from here for the past 45 years. Food has been consistently the same old school North American style Chinese food. Special fried rice has a nice Smokey flavor to it complimenting anything. Hot and Sour soup is actually both in a large portion. Korean shrimp is one on my favorites large shrimp wrapped in tasty pork with a rich oyster sauce. Chow mein is always fresh complimenting the meal.“

“Killer food here, it’s my go to Hakka spot for years now, this one and in Whitby. Amazing lunch specials ~$12 for a main with side, spring roll and a pop. Amazing hot sauce and chili vinegar to go with their meals on dine in, wish they sold them on their own or for takeout. Give this place a try.“

Manchurian chow mein not the biggest fan but it could just be a personal thing as I don’t like fat noodles *no homo* Indian flavour as opposed to Chinese .
