Like past visits, were warmly greeted when we entered Pho Sam. The owner (now, Uncle) made the rounds and connected with every guest as he always does. I briefly shared that my son was not feeling well and how Dad used to take us for pho on those sickly days. That I was too tired to make my own pho at home. Plus, I wanted my son to remember the Asian side of his heritage, because we have good and healing food. Yes, we have good food.

Uncle left us to eat when the food arrived ... And THEN ... he did the unthinkable, the sweetest, most unexpected thing. He topped up my broth! Because the broth. Something my Dad would a
do, him being a soup and brothy kind of guy.

Thank you, Uncle for this small act of care. The food you serve is the best in town, but more importantly the way you show care to your patrons is something special and something to write home about. Unknowingly, you came through as my loving Dad, unbeknownst. Someone, I've been missing terribly.

“Been coming here for years, mainly for takeout, but we decided to eat at the restaurant last night. Was quite busy for a Monday evening (about 7pm - but tables were available). The food was as good as always - grilled chicken Pho (large is huge), veg summer rolls and fried spring rolls, but really just wanted to give a shout out to the two servers working last night. Both women were so friendly and attentive. We were even given caramel coffee desserts to try, that they were planning on adding to their menu later this summer. Although the food was great as always and the restaurant clean, it's service like this that elevates a restaurant to a whole different level. Thanks so much again!“

“Food is very good, timing of meals with a larger party was not ideal, everyone got served at different times, food and beverages.Iit was good food, the broths were very tasty and I would say very decent portions of wontons and meats for the dishes, noodles and stir-fry. Server was very polite, but very quiet, at certain times was difficult to hear over background noises. Was very clean, but decor was out of place, and Atmosphere was just off, not bad at all, but not fitting.“
