“Amazing good and place. We tried this place out for the first time last night and everything about it was wonderful. The service. The food. Everything was perfect. The chicken skewers, the Vietnamese spring rolls, and the fried tofu were "chef's kiss".We tried their Chicken Pho (spicy) and crispy noodles with seafood. OMG! The texture. The flavours. The quality. Everything was spot on. The food was so good that it was in a long time that our table of 5 was quiet, cos we were so busy slurping down our food. ?The service was fast and friendly. I think it was the owner who was also serving. She was so bloody efficient. Food came out pretty quickly and, it was hot and delicious. We are.definitely going back.“
“Very happy with finding this place for pho. It smelled delicious in the restaurant as soon as we opened the door. The pho is light and delicious, but still very filling. If you're offered the chili oil/crisps, be careful if you don't have a high spicy tolerance. It will get you.“
“Update: 5 years later, Karen & her husband are still making incredible Thai food. Prices have remained reasonable and the food quality is still exceptional. They have become takeout-only post COVID.This hole-in-the-wall offers no frills fresh and quality Thai food in a mom &pop atmosphere. Definitely recommend for takeout.“
“Food, background music, service, all good. Doing good business on a holiday. Excellent that they didn't use a plastic "to go" container for extra soup - environmentally conscious. ? Silverware was super clean & shiny. I'll be back.“
“My family first arrived in Oshawa in 1968 and there was exactly one Asian restaurant in Durham. A lot has changed for the better and there’s lots of food options from many ethnicities. But it’s still rare to find legit, satisfying fare. So, having received delivery, take out & dined in at Vietnamese Pho for years, I’m surprised their ratings are misleadingly low. I find their food is consistently fresh, well prepared & very satisfying for great prices. Besides, the common pho, I would extol the bun vermicelli & variety of rolls. There’s peanut butter sauce but also suggest the fish sauce into which you can add sriracha. I highly recommend the crepes banh xue - it’s uncommonly good. And try the banh mi sandwiches or even the Greek gyros (long story why they have Greek items LOL but it’s so Canadian ??) and it’s all delicious. It’s all like home cooking if your grandma was from Vietnam.“
“Ingrid and Katie really make this place the best. Service is top notch, recommendations are good and food is addictive. I usually get the pho with bun bo hue broth and for anyone who likes spicy broths: you won’t regret ordering the bun bo hue broth. Highly recommend!“
