“The shrimp fresh rolls were the best I’ve ever had! Fresh, lots of mint and plenty of carrot made them so sweet! We had the garlic noodles with chicken ( I added veggies - mushrooms and bok choy) and the house broken rice meal and both were great! We ordered the Vietnamese fried rice as take out for lunch tomorrow! Go to Hanoi House in Peterborough, you won’t regret it!Vegetarian options: Lots!Dietary restrictions: Good for gluten free peopleParking: Lots“

“The food and drinks are incredible! The owners are so nice and very quick to get your order out. It’s probably the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The dishes are flavourful but not overly hot. They also include everything you need on the table. The portion sizes are huge. If something says XL they mean it. So definitely order your food with that in mind. The Vietnamese coffee blew me away! It’s strong but still has a nice sweetness to it. It’s my new favourite coffee and I wish they opened earlier lol.Thank you for the wonderful food and service! I will definitely be back.“

“My family first arrived in Oshawa in 1968 and there was exactly one Asian restaurant in Durham. A lot has changed for the better and there’s lots of food options from many ethnicities. But it’s still rare to find legit, satisfying fare. So, having received delivery, take out & dined in at Vietnamese Pho for years, I’m surprised their ratings are misleadingly low. I find their food is consistently fresh, well prepared & very satisfying for great prices. Besides, the common pho, I would extol the bun vermicelli & variety of rolls. There’s peanut butter sauce but also suggest the fish sauce into which you can add sriracha. I highly recommend the crepes banh xue - it’s uncommonly good. And try the banh mi sandwiches or even the Greek gyros (long story why they have Greek items LOL but it’s so Canadian ??) and it’s all delicious. It’s all like home cooking if your grandma was from Vietnam.“

“Very happy with finding this place for pho. It smelled delicious in the restaurant as soon as we opened the door. The pho is light and delicious, but still very filling. If you're offered the chili oil/crisps, be careful if you don't have a high spicy tolerance. It will get you.“
