“My husband and I have had several meals at Swiss Chalet Barrhaven Ontario location and I have to say the food was EXCELLENT, fast service, large portions but most of all EXCEPTIONAL, COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY service from George and Donya ( our servers). We will continue to eat here when we are in Ottawa. Thank you for providing quality on all levels“

“We haven't been to Swiss Chalet in years, but bro wanted to go for the roast beef, which is a temporary special. They don't normally serve beef.
He and hubby both enjoyed it very much. I had a hot chicken sandwich, and sis-in-law had a hot beef sandwich. Both came with 2 sides - I chose fries and Caesar salad - and wow, there was enough food there to keep me going for the next 2 days!
I was expecting the salad to be the size of a side salad, however it looked more like a main dish size. I shared it with hubby.

All the food got top marks from all of us. We ordered dessert, which we don't usually do, but the pictures looked delicious. They didn't lie. The cheese cake is to die for! (I shared mine with hubby because the serving was very generous.)
Not only were we pleased with the food, but the service was great too. The young lady who served us looked after us very well, and with a big friendly smile.
I think we'll be going back again before too long.“

“Today was my second time trying this location; first was dine-in with a friend on a week night and today was a take-out. All servers were very knowledgeable about food menu and how food were prepared. What amazed me the most was the pleasant vibe of the server during the dine-in experience. It's late at night, yet, the server was excited to present the menu and offered dessert options in case we changed our minds.
For today, total take-out time was within the 15-16 mins time frame which the server had mentioned. The server was very patient with my questions about the menu. Some people who arrived later than me seemed to have ordered online and were saying that they waited more than 30 minutes. I don't know how the online order works with the pick up timing, but I hope that customers can be more understanding towards evening staffs who probably gave up their weekend night to serve customers. I am thankful that I got to order some food that were available. I would definitely come back to this location for another dine-in or take-out.“

As a local permanent makeup artist with a studio downtown this is my favourite place to grab a full slow-food breakfast before my first client arrives. The table settings are luxury class with white linens and proper settings. The variety and quality of food is excellent. I imagine that travellers staying in the hotel would have an excellent experience. Having tried other hotel restaurants in the downtown core I can say that the Carleton Grill is competing very well.“

“We’re two Nova Scotia moms in town for the Canadian Ringette Championship, and we ended up coming back to this restaurant FOUR nights in a row—which really says it all! Every visit was consistently amazing. We tried the steak sandwich, steak bites, French Onion soup, burgers, and the fish and chips (which were amazing). Everything was fresh, delicious, and exactly what we needed after long days at the rink. But the absolute highlight of our experience was Leslie. She is truly one of the best servers we’ve ever had—so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. By the end of our week, we felt like we had made a new friend. Getting to know her was such a treat, and she made each visit even more special. Amazing food, incredible service, and an experience that kept us coming back night after night. At 216 their Manager Rassi & Server Omar knew my name as we came in to enjoy HO make-good my suggestion of a complimentary veg burger & fave Strawberry Handspun Shake. Success with Harvey's app would have earned me points & loyalty benefits.

Maybe my old MS 7 vs newer MS10 caused missed menu items or my wrong entries on the app. More care might earn points to earn benefits like Burger Boss for $3 first one. I avoid buying anything American, use mainly Harvey's, Cdn A&W & local meals in tRump years. With reliable American Google OS! :) No McDs, Burger King, Dairy Queen or Starbucks. For takeout, I'd use Winnipeg's SKIP, not US DoorDash.“

The unlimited bread and salad were a perfect start, and my main course was cooked perfectly with generous portions. “Dropped in for lunch. Loved the food. Housemade chicken curry soup was excellent and I have a lot of experience with curry. Also had a blueberry lemon scone that was crisp on the outside and tender buttery on the inside. My wife had a breakfast sandwich, which at Good Eats is far above the ordinary with housemade English muffins, cheese layered in the egg and perfectly cooked bacon. There was some sort of chutney on the English Muffin which added a nice spicy touch. Very welcoming staff. Friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Also they had nice art on the walls from a local artist.“

“Our family really loves the Carlingwood Harvey's, and it has become a regular part of our week. Everytime we arrive we greeted with a warm smile from Christina, who knows are order. Let's face it Harvey's burgers are the best! Why would I want to pay an extra $1 at Burger King's for an extra tomato while Harvey's set you with the topping the way you like it! “I love, love, love this place! To me Gabriel Pizza has the very best pizza in Ottawa and their spaghetti sauce is the very best sauce around as well and their pasta is always perfectly cooked! We order either pizza, spaghetti, or lasagna from this location at least once a week and the food is consistently delicious; we always use their delivery services, and the food always arrives hot and well within the Estimated Delivery Time. Next time you crave pizza or a delicious spaghetti or lasagna with meat sauce, turn to Gabriel Pizza for great taste and use this location for friendly, quick and accurate delivery!! Enjoy!!!“
