“I’ve been coming here at least 1-2 times a week, and I can easily say they have the best, most fresh, and most reasonably-priced sushi in Ottawa! The owners are very nice and welcoming, they always greet every customer with a smile. ?I got the platters for a birthday party, which were a hit with the guests.I’ve never seen salmon and tuna this fresh in Ottawa. I usually go for the specialty rolls or tacos. I love the variety of the menu and how filled the tacos are.Highly recommend using their Google form to order since it’s quick, easy to use, and has all the menu items on there.“

“This review is for Happy Goat's coffee subscription program and their espresso beans. I have been a member of their subscription program for many years and I absolutely love it! I can customize when the beans are sent depending on my usage, and the delivery is always quick (2 business days, but I also live in the country). I subscribe to the decaf espresso beans and they work beautifully in my Breville espresso machine. The taste is wonderful and they make the best lattes and cappuccinos every time. Highly recommend trying the subscription program if you love drinking Happy Goat coffee and want to support local businesses.“

“This is great location for me to sit down and enjoy coffee. The staff there are very friendly. I usually come in to buy an XL 4x4. I sit down by the window enjoying the TV music and taking naps from time to time until it's time I head to work. I work at the vietnamese restaurant beside the other new store thats still under construction so coming here I get to relax on the very comfy chairs before my shift starts. Planning to tryout the breakfast soon once I figure out what options they have as I have a severe egg allergy so I have to be extra careful when I place an order. Coffee is delicious which is much better than the watered down Timmies across the street.“

Always fresh, packaged with great care, a beautiful selection and rich flavour - nothing beats the experience I always have with Cafe Delice. “Donuts are tasty although $5+ is pretty steep considering they’re pretty simple donuts. (I guess that’s the going rate with inflation and cost of ingredients. They’re good donuts just not that mind blowing). I just wish they had better to go packaging. I got the crème brûlée donut and it stuck to the bag. Before that I got The Christopher and the icing got all stuck to the plastic container. Maybe little individual boxes would be better.“

“This is one of the best coffee shops around. their coffee is tasty and fresh. if you dislike sweet coffee avoid getting flavour shots. I recommend getting an iced oat latte. when it comes to treats, I really like the muffins warmed up. One star I’m taking away is from the breakfast wrap, honestly it was a mess. I had a cheese and egg wrap and it was just big chunks of cheese and a bland scrambled egg wrapped up. And my wrap had dried out ketchup so that was gross. I would avoid getting wraps and just go for the coffee. It was really good. The baristas were very kind and helpful.“

“While the cupcakes were good, I picked up a half dozen of mini-cupcakes to go as they were for a toddler and the box given was large and didn't have any partitions or way to keep the mini-cupcakes from rolling around. When they were brought directly from the shop to my destination, the cupcakes had all kind of fallen over and the icings melded together. They tasted good, but the presentation was lacking - not that a toddler would care - but would recommend looking into at least smaller boxes with some kind of partition or selling the mini-cupcakes as a pre-made set to go so that presentation can be preserved.“

“The Morning Owl on Rochester St. is great. Super cute and small, and the guy working there is always so friendly and fun. He remembers people by name, is super polite, and goes out of his way if you have a special request. They don't have a super big food selection but you can go to a Starbucks if you want that - this is where you come for that personal touch :)“
