I have eaten at this restaurant many, many times with only rave reviews about food. Tonight a problem, right away the General Manager Stefan Jackson came to our table and offered compensation. I said the problem not with staff, the kitchen but the way the steak was butchered incorrectly so the cook was perfect, unfortunately the meat was the problem. Mr. Jackson was so polite, professional and obviously wanting to ensure that we were happy with our experience. Service like this is outstanding and as I have been a regular customer at Taps, I will continue to be. Thank you Angelina and Mr. Jackson for your thoughtfulness and handling of this. “Came here for dinner and it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere—modern, clean, and comfortable without feeling too fancy. It was busy, but we were seated quickly and never felt rushed during our meal.

We started with the crispy calamari, and it was honestly one of the better ones I’ve had. It was light, crispy, and not greasy at all. The fresh cucumber, pickled radish, and jalapeños gave it a nice refreshing balance instead of it just being another fried appetizer. Everything tasted fresh and was plated beautifully.

The drinks were also well made, and our server was friendly, attentive, and checked on us at just the right times without being overbearing. The service made the whole experience even better.“

“We come from Niagara and were in the area and looking for a spot to host 6 people and a baby last minute. we were able to be on a wait list and got our table fairly faster than the time they told us.
Wow very impressed with this place! It has to be one of my favourites. The flavours on the meat, the decent selection. Everything was delicious and on point. There were a couple of times that our orders would come twice, but other than that service was really good and quick to get our order and start cooking.
