Steel Town Cider Brewery •
Unit 14 Fronts, Frid St, Hamilton - 6.79 miles

“I travel for work and make an effort to explore local businesses in the cities I visit. I first encountered Steel Town Cider during the pandemic and have since rediscovered an expanded menu and more exciting atmosphere! I have now revisited a handful of times this past year.
In my opinion, there is a good selection of Ciders for those with prefer either dry or sweet. If you like both, even more option! There are a couple craft beer options available as well.
Throughout the year, they collab with other individuals and/or groups for food, entertainment, and social events. The space is large enough to host these events and seat guests both inside and outside. Personally, I didn't find the space overly noisy and umbrellas provided shade in the summer.
On my last visit, my favourites were Vay Kay and Guav AF. Alex provided a friendly experience, chatting about the history of the venue and how the cider-brewing process works, while still remaining attentive to the other guests.
I strongly recommend stopping by and trying the quality selection of drinks! If you're there on an event day, even better!“

Quality Vintners Brewery • $$
1032 Barton St E, Hamilton - 5.24 miles

“I made four batches and they have turned out very well, though they can take at least a couple of years in the bottle to lose the sweetness of a new wine and fully come into their own. if you like a "big" tasting wine, I recommend the Super Tuscan, Carmenere or Amarone. Given some time to mature unmolested, laid on their sides, they will not disappoint. Staff is friendly and super helpful, always upbeat, it's a pleasure to do business with these folks.“
