“Ordered the strawberry bingsu and one of the lattes. Both were very good and the large bingsu was enough for two people. It has cheesecake bites in it which was very tasty. I would recommend getting the strawberry cake bingsu to get more cake pieces because they are really good“

Coffee is strong, employees are friendly, service is amazing but the PASTRIES ♥️ The croissants 🥐 and scones are to die for ♥️ I’m writing this review as I eat two of their croissants. “This is one of my top cafes in the GTA. I would like to gate keep it if I could but the place deserves the recognition. Beautiful nooks to read and catch up with friends. The place has character, with a it’s exposed brick and tons of books to choose from. I like to come here to do some light work. Amazing ambiance. Only downside is that during the winter it can get a bit cold.“

It was nice to enjoy their reasonably priced lunch menu, we enjoyed the Sicilian (one with turkey and no eggplant) and the Turkey with provolone and jelly. My daughter ordered bow tie pesto pasta di burrata - out of this world fresh and delish! We ordered bruschetta and heated olives/crostini and the maple pecan salad, the dressing was a bit on the sweet side if you don't mind, we found it scrumptious. Desserts were great, cannoli with pistachio filling, chocolate eclair (we think coffee would be better), tiramisu was ok, and best of all of them however was the nutella filled croissant with fresh strawberries, heaven! Happy to go again, and again, and again :-)“

“People say hidden gem and whatnot but this is the only place I'd really miss in this area. You legit cannot get better coffee in Toronto, coffee island is probably the only one on this level. A small crew means it's always high quality and the food is nice. Just order ahead if you are in a hurry and spanikopita goes fast so have a backup order in mind. Looking forward to trying the new sandwiches. Personal favorites: oat cap, oat chai, spanikopita, sausage egg muffin. If you combine this coffee with the bagel place up the street you'll have the best lunch ever.“

“Well, my initial thoughts are that this is much more elevated than the lounge upstairs. Many varieties of food to go, and a bartender who serves you proper.

There is pleasant background music going. I have a glass-poured Caesar from a can, but the bartender rimmed it and added ice. Works for me. I grabbed one of the least filling premade items - charcuterie. But they also had hot items (Samosas) with toppings. Many wraps and sandwiches available to go!
