“The ice cream parlor had six vegan flavours and vegan cones. We tried a scoop each of fig and dark chocolate and really enjoyed both! Scoops are large but still a pit pricey. And while there were some rather unusual flavours, I still find it disappointing to see less than half of the flavours being vegan. “Wandered into Barbary Ape on Friday evening after a long week of flights and it was exactly the kind of spot that surprises you. The taxidermy and old world decor covering every wall gave it this eccentric, almost speakeasy vibe that made me put my phone away for a while. Staff at the bar knew the history of half the pieces on display and happily pointed out their favorites when asked. Small detail but the low lighting and worn leather seating around 7pm made it feel more like a private club than a tourist stop, easily worth the detour.“

“I’ve always wanted to try Guilty Pleasurez Dezzert Cafe, but with work, I always seemed to be nearby around the time they were closing. I finally managed to make it in one day, and it was definitely worth the wait!

There are so many options to choose from, and honestly, everything we tried tasted amazing. The ice cream in particular was really good. It was a soft serve style, but noticeably creamier and richer than your typical McDonald’s or Dairy Queen ice cream.

Overall, I was really impressed and can definitely see myself coming back to try some of the other desserts. If you’re in the area and have been thinking about stopping in, definitely give them a try. Well worth the visit!“

“Great little place for a quick dessert with the kids. Waffles were freshly made and huge! Fresh fruit and delicious ice cream or Gelato. Service was great and accommodating. We had the strawberry banana waffle with ice cream and requested Nutella be added and she add a good amount at no extra charge. Prices were very reasonable at $15 a waffle. Highly recommend“

“At the st. Catharine’s location at the Pen Center. I’m here with my daughter. Had the wings and fries and the dessert Divide and conquer Belgian Waffle! The service is amazing but it’s a large place so we did approach the counter right away. It’s beautiful and clean. So many delicious things on the menu to choose! I highly recommend it!“

“We almost left when we first arrived because it looked really busy, but thankfully a table opened up within just a few minutes.

It was our very first time trying bingsu, and we were a little worried that the shaved ice would be bland or just taste like snow. We were pleasantly surprised! The flavor, sweetness, and texture were perfectly balanced, and we enjoyed every bite until the very end.

If it’s your first time trying bingsu, I’d describe it as a super light, fluffy ice cream with a unique melt-in-your-mouth texture. If you enjoy cold desserts, there’s a good chance you’ll love it too.

“Incredibly kind and hospitable owner! It's a hidden gem inside a sports facility with drinks and desserts that are undeniably amazing!

If you want any pictures printed onto drinks then this is the place to go! The colour comes out so vibrantly! The Sakura flavoured bubble tea with rich and creamy foam on top was a stand out!

We absolutely loved the Lychee infused Swiss roll cake with fresh strawberries and edible flowers ❤. It's nothing like we had before! It's so fluffy and moist.

They also had whimsical 3D foam latte art and many flavours of cookies and mochi! If you want custom cakes, I highly recommend ordering with Sugar Rain Cafe.

“The Funnel Cake with Strawberry & Vanilla Ice Cream at Canada's Wonderland is an absolute treat! The funnel cake was freshly made—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The warm cake paired perfectly with the sweet, juicy strawberries and the creamy vanilla ice cream, creating the perfect balance of hot and cold. A light dusting of powdered sugar and the strawberry topping made every bite even more delicious.

The portion is generous, making it great to share, especially after spending the day walking around the park. Enjoying it outdoors with the beautiful scenery and fountains made the experience even better.

If you have a sweet tooth, this dessert is definitely worth trying when visiting Canada's Wonderland!“

“It’s not bad. Not great. Mostly I don’t enjoy eating hot food out of a plastic container especially when you order it for here and not to go. If they serve out of plastic, they should change their photos to show that instead of beautiful porcelain.“

“Love sugar marmalade it’s a nice place to get lunch with friends.

Their food is pretty good! I can’t speak for many things but so far i have tried their shaved ice in 2 flavours matcha and mango. Both were great but if you get the matcha one i would say to get a different flavour ice cream on top since the matcha one is a little grainy.

My favourite thing from them is the backed rices, especially the Japanese curry one it is absolutely delicious and can be eaten with 2 people as a light lunch.

I had their lemonade also maybe a year ago it was fine I don’t remember it being anything special though.

Service wise it’s pretty good. There’s a tall guy who is very nice and immediately brang us the bill to pay.

The inside is ok nothing special again but nice and cozy.

After finishing our meal, seeing so many people outside, we decided to let others sit instead—no need to inconvenience the staff. This place isn't really meant for long stays on weekends, but their homemade desserts and friendly service made me feel comfortable.“
