“I was looking for places that open 10 am on Sunday because our church service starts at 11:30 and we found this hidden gem place! They play Caribbean gospel music and the place is clean (which is hard to find again) and soft spoken lady with good Customer service. Loved it. Only wish is if the food was slightly less sweet would be perfect! Definitely returning and will let others know this hidden place!“

“I ordered the large fried chicken with oxtail three days ago and I’m still dreaming about it lol. Definitely a treat at $22—not something I’d do all the time, but worth it.
Yes, the oxtail had a lot of bones, but I prefer that over overly fatty, cloying pieces, and the flavour was excellent. The fried chicken was perfection—not too breaded or over-seasoned.
There were about six customers ahead of me, and I still got my food in under 10 minutes. Easily one of the best spots in the city.“

“Love this place. I always order the fried fry and mash or shrimp and mash. Just wish it came with vegetables(steamed or fresh doesn't matter just more veggies; broccoli, cabbage). Subtracting 1 star for no vegetables.
But overall the food is 10/10 and it's always a nice atmosphere.“

“Sometimes the food is okay but it's a hit or miss. Recently bought a curried goat & Rice dinner Recently, it had too much gravey and the meat seemed as if they scraped the bottom of the pot. Sometimes the food is very salty and customer experience needs to be improved. Being courteous and pleasant goes a long way.“

“This is definitely a little Hidden Gem I must have passed by this place many times. So glad I noticed it on my way to Shoppers Drug Mart. Definitely some of the best oxtail in the city it was literally fall off the bone melt in your mouth. Owner was super nice you can tell he puts love into the food definitely going to be a regular here. I came right before closing so he ran out of coleslaw so instead he gave me watermelon which was absolutely incredible“

“I went in twice today. I went to inquire about some cocktail patties. I was kind of overlooked the first time but to be fair I was a little aimless. The lady that spoke to me the first time was very knowledgeable and I appreciate her information and suggestions. I came back later and purchased my items. They no longer make cocktail patties. I haven't had these patties in awhile, although they're my long time favorite. They tasted a little different from the ones I sometimes get from my local bakery. I was pleasantly surprised to find there was a good amount of filling. They have a good variety of patties overall. Lots of people were coming in throughout the time I was there. I would highly recommend.“

“Stopped in to satisfy a fried chicken craving. Ended up getting a fired chicken and jerk chicken half n half combo on beans and rice. Serving was good size for $22. The chicken was lovely and moist with great flavours. They added a sweet kind of plum sauce with the fried chicken. Haven't seen that before but loved it! Gave me a side of coleslaw also and it was so creamy. Not watery lettuce like you get in a lot of places. All in all. Top marks 👌“

“Jonny the waiter was not only attentive, but also so catering to the needs of our group. He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. Matty in the back who carried out my steak did an incredible job not only was it cooked to satisfactory but it was above and beyond what my expectations were I had the best experience I could have asked for and would recommend to anyone i possibly could.

“Food here was AMAZING! Due to covid this was an Uber Eats order but you would never know it was delivery. The food was hot and fresh! The jerk chicken was moist and full of flavor. You could taste the spices from the skin down to the meat. Bone included! The plantains were soft, sweet, juicy and when you bit into it, the flavor just exploded in your mouth! If you’re in the Vaughn area of Toronto I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping by if you’re craving Caribbean food!“
