“My first time in Canada and my sis and I Google a Jamaican chill spot and we came across Zone 6 we navigate and drive almost 40 mins to get there. The food we ordered was Steamed fish with crackers and trust mi when mi sey it bad it baaad.. I screamed out I dont want no man in here I want the chef only to hear Trish the bartender said the chef is a woman dwlol that shit was funny. The vibes took the roof when we start on Teddy, Garry,Anthony and sprinkles. We are definitely going back Thursday because it was a Monday we went there and they said from Thursday to Sunday is a real vibe u know what that mean D VIBES CAH MISS WE OOOOH“

“I ordered the large fried chicken with oxtail three days ago and I’m still dreaming about it lol. Definitely a treat at $22—not something I’d do all the time, but worth it.
Yes, the oxtail had a lot of bones, but I prefer that over overly fatty, cloying pieces, and the flavour was excellent. The fried chicken was perfection—not too breaded or over-seasoned.
There were about six customers ahead of me, and I still got my food in under 10 minutes. Easily one of the best spots in the city.“

“I went in twice today. I went to inquire about some cocktail patties. I was kind of overlooked the first time but to be fair I was a little aimless. The lady that spoke to me the first time was very knowledgeable and I appreciate her information and suggestions. I came back later and purchased my items. They no longer make cocktail patties. I haven't had these patties in awhile, although they're my long time favorite. They tasted a little different from the ones I sometimes get from my local bakery. I was pleasantly surprised to find there was a good amount of filling. They have a good variety of patties overall. Lots of people were coming in throughout the time I was there. I would highly recommend.“

“Jonny the waiter was not only attentive, but also so catering to the needs of our group. He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. Matty in the back who carried out my steak did an incredible job not only was it cooked to satisfactory but it was above and beyond what my expectations were I had the best experience I could have asked for and would recommend to anyone i possibly could.

“My favourite spot in Etobicoke to grab Jamaican food! Brown stew fish and bammy is my absolute favourite, made fresh to order. I’ve also tried other things but I love the fish from here. Prices are reasonable and you get generous portions.

Taudo is also super sweet and you can definitely tell he loves doing what he does.

“Couldn't recommend more! Some of the best jerk chicken I've ever had and at phenomenal price! It's cool that they have small, medium or large options for most of their meals. And this medium box, which is a very substantial amount of food was only $13.

For my friends who are picky eaters, they have a white rice option without beans and sauce options that aren't less spicy. (But I got spicy and beans and it was great.)

I wish I had cash on me more often, because this is definitely a hidden gem. Also, despite it seeming like it's been around forever, the inside is very clean and welcoming.“

You could taste the spices from the skin down to the meat. Bone included! The plantains were soft, sweet, juicy and when you bit into it, the flavor just exploded in your mouth! “Stopped in to satisfy a fried chicken craving. Ended up getting a fired chicken and jerk chicken half n half combo on beans and rice. Serving was good size for $22. The chicken was lovely and moist with great flavours. They added a sweet kind of plum sauce with the fried chicken. Haven't seen that before but loved it! Gave me a side of coleslaw also and it was so creamy. Not watery lettuce like you get in a lot of places. All in all. Top marks 👌“
