“A small, cozy spot for sushi. We ordered the two-person set, and the portion was just right. The downside is there’s no water provided, so you’re forced to purchase drinks. The sushi rice was a bit hard not that good. That said, it’s a convenient place for a casual chat and a relaxed meal.“

“Seriously a hidden gem. The food was delicious and affordable, the lady at the counter was super sweet, and the place was really comfortable and clean. I got the Lunch Special (Lunch B), which is dynamite roll with udon. For the lunch set it comes with salad, for the rolls it comes with Miso soup, and both served with tea or water. My friend got the Orange Dragon sushi and the salmon was really fresh and tasted awesome. Everything tasted amazing. The portion was really good, I was really full after this meal. This is my happy place whenever I come to Vaughan and now I’m typing this I want to come again already!“

“Fresh and yummy sushi! It was beyond my expectation for a food court location. For those who may not be familiar with "sushi", it means rice with raw fish ? on top like this ? and should be kept in a fridge if not consumed immediately to prevent the fish from being spoiled. Good value for a healthy light food option. ?“

“Sushi one is an exceptional restaurant with quality food and excellent customer service. The atmosphere is cozy and we are always seated right away. There's a great menu with many affordable options and the staff are incredible! So accommodating and kind! I highly recommend!“

“Very nice sushi place. Great food - I had the two dragon bento and it was very tasty. Came with green tea and miso soup. Big portion at a reasonable price. Great service as well, waiter was professional and kind.
Note that the restaurant is on the street side of the building, not in the plaza itself, makes it harder to find when you’re not familiar with the area.“

“Had dinner here today. They take reservations! Our server was lovely. She was friendly and attentive and helpful.
I ordered two massive rolls. Each piece was huge. I either, stuffed the whole thing in my mouth and chewed while looking like a hamster or took 1 bite first and everything else just fell all over the place lol. Not a complaint though!
Both my rolls were yum. I was very happy with my food. Their miso soup is good too. Hubby ordered one roll and ate some of mine. I left feeling satisfied!
The only small complaint are the greasy floors to the washroom. I had to walk carefully so I wouldnt slip. Also, the front door could use some cleaning.“

“The restaurant, service and food at this restaurant was good. However the only downside is that the customers are literally asked to pay a tip. During this difficult period of the pandemic, it is hard to leave a tip. It should be optional but if you do not tip, you are sort of asked "why no tip". This becomes odd and the customer should be given the discretion to tip. This is the reason, I am giving 4 stars to this restaurant.“

It's always a pleasure to go there, and it never fails to put me in a happy mood. I have been coming to this restaurant since they started at St. Clair Ave. and now relocated to Yonge St.“
