“Last time I had a normal nut milk tea here and it wasn't great — there was a problem with nut sediments at the bottom of the drink and it didn't really mesh well with the tea flavour for some reason. This time I got a drink that contained nut cream instead, and it was really good! Highly recommend. Service is always great here.“

“A quaint, cozy place with a cute outdoor seating. This Persian cafe has wonderful brunch menu. I had the Dutch baby pancake with berries on top, with bacon and eggs on the side. Don’t get fooled by the front, go to the back and have a seat at the outdoor area. Fabulous.“

Steak Bahn mi sandwich had some great flavor and the Stae Bagel was also quite good, both sandwiches were made with fresh toppings! Definitely recommend this spot, but parking is a pain in this area and seating is quite limited.“

“Today Jan 3, 2025 was my first time here. Beautifully decorated, Clean, generous size delicious baked on the premises blueberry scones, good coffee, friendly helpful staff and owner. I spent a long time working on the crossword puzzle sipping my two cups of coffee. I wasn’t rushed. Felt very comfortable. I wish them well, and I shall return for sure.“

“Very deserving of its perfect 5 star rating. A fantastic, charming sandwich, salad, soup gem. So well hidden that I can imagine people who work in this office building would not know it exists! (Please put up signs inside and outside). The healthy sandwiches are enormous as are their macaroons. They did not skimp on fresh ingredients in the soup.

Would be great if they did half sandwich and side soup combo. We will return to try other items.“

It’s a family run restaurant, the chef father makes so delicious and juicy bagel&sandwich, the cookies baked by the son are also very impressive 😍😍😍 what is more impressive is the price, All Day Breakfast:a bagel with a coffee , only costs 5.99CAD, 6.77 after tax. Nowadays this price can only buy a cup of coffee in Toronto 😅😅 A bagel alone like that would cost at least 12 CAD!!!! When I firstly saw the ad saying All- Day Breakfast 5.99 on the wall, I thought that must be a scam😂😅 Buz similar meal like that in the campus food trucks are at least twice the price. Then one day I finally tried to walk in Papamio’s, it did cost that less and the boss even gave me a cookie for free as a new client 🤩🤩🤩“

“I came for brunch on a Thursday 11am and easily found seating. I ordered the match latte (pictured) and the smoked salmon sandwich. Everything was great except I had hoped that the croissant would be warm and crunchy. It was cold just like the rest of the ingredients.
I’m also giving the service only 4 stars because the machine suggested minimum 15% tip for counter service. I believe when you have to pick up and drop off your own plates, that deducts 5% from the total service. I also work in service and this is how Ive always done it. It’s kind of unfair to have that be the lowest suggestion, but I understand that I could just calculate it myself (yet another task added when I just want to enjoy my free time).

“The owner is so nice, and really knowledgeable about Pu-Erh teas. He is patient, and the food he makes is amazing! The prices for the teas and food is reasonable (student budget friendly lmao). I remember when this was at a different location down the street and he had chalkboard menus - updated now and looks awesome. Interior decor is 100% instagramable with the arwork and the wood seating. You gotta come here at least once if you're around here, it's worth it.“

“Was there for a Sunday brunch with friends. Food is awesome and coffee is good. The workers were very nice but I felt that they were short staffed because it took very long for them to greet us and bring us water. It was over 10min before a waitress was able to take our order. The food was also slow to show up and they may have missed a couple things from the order as it didnt come out until we asked for it after waiting a while. Everybody seemed swamped and perhaps there needs to be a designated server among them.

“First time trying this place out and I was super surprised. The wait was completely worth it, the place was buzzing with people outside the door. The staff was taking orders in-person and online so I completely understand the long wait time. The food was amazing, my family ordered the chicken shashuka, cheese and spinach roll, avocado sandwich, iced mango matcha, iced dirty chai and iced latte. The shashuka was super fresh and piping hot, little bit of spice which I love and the bread was AMAZING. My mom has a very sensitive stomach so she doesn’t eat out often, however the avocado sandwich is all she can talk about. 10/10 for the food. There is limited outdoor seating but as it is located in liberty village it would be a great opportunity to walk to a nice area and eat. As a bonus they give you a buzzing device so you can enjoy the sun while waiting for your order without having to wait inside. For 3 people the total was about $50 which is reasonable and the food was filling.“

Only feedback would be to froth the milk individually. Have had cappuccinos turn out to be more like a latte because the barista frothed a larger pitcher and then poured it into smaller ones to make multiple drinks.

I can understand it saves time in a high volume shop but it changes the consistency of the drink visit to visit.“

“Unique and delicious pastries and snacks. Everything is baked in house and made fresh everyday. Cake slices are the best in the area. Cookies, scones, buns, muffins, all amazing.
Breakfast sandwich is unreal. Can get it with or without meat.
If busy, service can be slow, so maybe not a quick stop if you are a line, but worth the wait if you have the time.
The birthday cakes actually taste as good as they look. Highly recommend ordering way in advance !“

“best coffee in the city. haven’t been back to the city in a while but remains top in my books. this location has been open for 7 years now and only spot i’ve found to serve a 4 shot large as a standard. i always get the americano, usually with the kenyan beans. they also offer a selection of 3 types of beans and beans to take home. super friendly staff and authentic vibes. great baked goods too. must go coffee shop in the city.“

“This is our go-to spot for crepe cakes! They’re very cheap for the quality and in comparison to many other cafes/bakeries that sell crepe cakes. We’ve tried the Oreo, mango and Earl grey crepe cake, and they were all so delicious. The cakes were not too sweet which suited our taste. The store is in the underground parking lot, and once you enter, there’s the sweet aroma of cake.

The crepe cake is very delicate with many layers as pictured. The mango crepe cake was great for mango lovers as there was a lot of fresh mango. The earl grey crepe cake was great as well because there was a strong tea flavour and it wasn’t too sweet. There was also an Earl grey jelly on the top layer of the cake. We come here every birthday to order crepe cakes because although crepe cakes are usually the most expensive, X-Cake sells delicious crepe cakes for an affordable price.

We came back for the earl grey crepe cake again and it was delicious as usual. We also tried the mango purple rice crepe cake which was not too sweet, and the purple rice added a unique flavour which we enjoyed!“
