“We visited this location for lunch today and found it to be fairly quiet and not very busy. We ordered two chicken sandwiches along with a chicken box meal that came with wedges.

The chicken was fresh, juicy, and pleasantly non-greasy, which sets it apart from many other fried chicken places. The sandwiches were good overall, though a bit more seasoning or flavor would have made them even better.

The chicken box included three pieces of chicken and wedges, and both were served fresh and hot. The wedges were especially impressive—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and cooked perfectly.

The service was really fast and friendly. Parking is also free as the plaza has free parking.

Overall, the food was enjoyable, the quality was solid, and everything tasted fresh. While there is some room for improvement in the sandwich flavor, this is a good option for fresh fried chicken and delicious wedges.“

“bb.q Chicken has become one of our regular comfort food spots. The Gangnam-style chicken and Cheesling fries are easily our favorites, and the quality has been consistently great every visit. Definitely recommend it if you’re craving Korean fried chicken.“

“I love me some Big Mary. Honestly, their sandwiches and fried chicken beat out the vast majority of the chain restaurants out there. There’s maybe one other place that even belongs in the same conversation, but the Spicy Big Mary is easily my absolute favorite sandwich overall. I ask for a packet of Louisiana hot sauce and add it to my sandwhcih for that extra kick. Even without it, the sandwhich has great crunch, awesome kick, and real quality chicken.

“The wings were fine. I noticed later that he charged me $6.49 even though the Sunday price is $5.99. he still ignored me even though I told him twice but I only noticed later. I included a pic. Anyhow I chose this location because the girl here was nice to me before. I wanted to see her again she said she was from north India. This time around she decided to stay in the office and send some random guy out to service me (the same one who can't figure out what a daily special is). Even though I sat there and ate my wings she never once came out as though she was scorning. At first I thought she set him up to piss me off then I realized it was most likely karma the guy at the grocery store charged me 25 cents less than he should have for my cookie at first I thought it was a good gesture but then I realized no good deed goes unpunished and something would happen to balance it out so them charging me me a bit extra was just karma, you win some and you lose some. Clearly not coming back here if I have to be dealing with all these frustrating energies. She won't see me again touche!“

“May 2026 update: overall atmosphere and service is the same. However I've had to reduce my rating of the food to 3 stars. I'm not sure if the oil used now to fry the chicken and fries is old or a bit stale but my throat is not happy after eating our meal. Ive been to other places that used old oil and the same thing happened as well. The chicken overall also felt drier, not the same quality experience I had when I first went there.

Original review: I can't believe I've waited this long to do a review on this Mary Brown's location. Of course, Mary Brown's makes fried chicken. We know that. However, one thing I've come to realize is that not all franchises are created equally. I've been to other locations where the chicken feels greasy or ones where I'm convinced the oil is old and the chicken tastes subpar. That is not the case with this Mary Brown's location. I've been quite a few times now and each time, I'm completely satisfied with the quality of the fried chicken. The chicken is made well, it's crispy, flavourful (and not too salty) and moist without being oily or greasy. Dare I say, this chicken makes me happy!

On top of it all, you have to try their taters. Coated and seasoned, the family likes to dip them in gravy and ketchup but I personally love their poutine drenched in gravy and cheese turds. The gravy is rich, savory, and a perfect complement for these taters.

Located close to Chester subway station, this Mary Brown's Chicken on the Danforth also has a patio that can be enjoyed in the warmer months. Staff at this location are pleasant, professional, and friendly. This is one Mary Brown's location is one I plan to continue to visit!“

“I’ve had consistently positive experiences at this Jollibee location. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and takes the time to make sure every order is correct.

A special shoutout to Sheelah, who happily took my order with a smile the entire time, it really made my visit enjoyable. I’d also like to recognize the female manager (I believe) who was working on July 23. She patiently opened every glass tumbler for customers who purchased one so they could inspect it for any damage. I’m sure it wasn’t the most exciting task, but she handled it with such a positive attitude and a smile on her face.

Despite being a very busy location, the restaurant is clean, organized, and you can tell the staff works incredibly hard. I’ve become a big fan of Jollibee’s chicken sandwiches and spaghetti. I’d highly recommend this location for both the great food and the outstanding customer service.“
