“We tried Toast on Bloor and our breakfast was amazing. I had the breakfast buritto and it was large with beans eggs bacon rice and aocado. NIcely done and my husbands Toast 3 egg breakfast was excellent. The only concern is the noise level. It needs more wall covering to cut down on the noise level. This would be a concern for anyone wht a hearing issue.“

“Have been here more than once and the quality of the food, the service and the flexibility of the staff was absolutely outstanding, with special mention going out to Joy, who is just great! “I was staying at the Delta so I ate here twice while at a conference the first time was on a Thursday night, there were two bartenders, but they weren’t paying any attention to the patrons the bar. They spent more time watching the Blue Jays than the customers. So service was very slow that night. The next day I had lunch with multiple other conference goers. There seem to be only one waitress working the entire restaurant, which seemed crazy for a conference of our size. She was running like crazy, but I would expect a convention center to plan and schedule accordingly. Both times the food was actually very good, but I’m only giving four stars due to the very slow poor service.“

“Came in Saturday evening, seeing they were full 30 minutes after opening is a good sign. Had to be put on a waitlist, which was well worth it. The Steak and Caesar Salad stole the show for me. As for the fries they are okay, the mayo it came with is delicious. The boiled eggs were jammy and Dijon sauce were tasty. Overall I definitely be coming back to try the burger and soft serve.“

“We had an amazing experience here, the service, atmosphere and the food is authentic and delicious. Appetizers were tasty, a mix of bread, cheese and bruchetas. We tried the steak, lamb chops, Miso Cod all were great and highly recommended. Ended the night with yummy deserts, Creme Brule was my favourite!“

“The meal itself was good — no complaints about the food. Everything tasted fine and was prepared well. However, the service was really strange. I was there on a first date, and we were interrupted constantly. Four different servers came by to ask if everything was okay — and each of them did it multiple times. It felt like we were interrupted at least 15–16 times throughout the evening. I've honestly never experienced anything like that before. I understand checking in on guests, but this was excessive and made it hard to relax and enjoy the conversation. Overall, the experience was just okay because of that. Good food, but the service approach really needs some balance.“

“This is my third time here, I brought my friends here, but we love to come here for the date night during the week as it is quiet and cozy. I see that a lot of people complaint about the server, but I’m happy to see familiar face and I know the cocktails will be good. Also, the variety of them is crazy! My top choice would always be truffle fries, popcorn chicken and truffle mushroom soup. Other items we tried are also very tasty!“

“It was a happy accident that led me to Tommy’s on a Sunday afternoon in the summer. I had been searching High Park and Parkdale for a good coffee, only to find most places closed after 2 PM. Luckily, Tommy’s was open — and what a wonderful find it was!
