“We tried Toast on Bloor and our breakfast was amazing. I had the breakfast buritto and it was large with beans eggs bacon rice and aocado. NIcely done and my husbands Toast 3 egg breakfast was excellent. The only concern is the noise level. It needs more wall covering to cut down on the noise level. This would be a concern for anyone wht a hearing issue.“

My husband had the Tuscan salmon with shrimps on a bed of rice which he cleaned up nicely and I had the Chicken Milanese with scrumptious arugula salad. The dessert was a divine lava cake. I was there on a first date, and we were interrupted constantly. Four different servers came by to ask if everything was okay — and each of them did it multiple times. It felt like we were interrupted at least 15–16 times throughout the evening. I've honestly never experienced anything like that before. I understand checking in on guests, but this was excessive and made it hard to relax and enjoy the conversation. Overall, the experience was just okay because of that. “This is my third time here, I brought my friends here, but we love to come here for the date night during the week as it is quiet and cozy. I see that a lot of people complaint about the server, but I’m happy to see familiar face and I know the cocktails will be good. Also, the variety of them is crazy! My top choice would always be truffle fries, popcorn chicken and truffle mushroom soup. Other items we tried are also very tasty!“

“It was a happy accident that led me to Tommy’s on a Sunday afternoon in the summer. I had been searching High Park and Parkdale for a good coffee, only to find most places closed after 2 PM. Luckily, Tommy’s was open — and what a wonderful find it was!
