“As a long-time sushi lover, I recommend this place. The fish and ingredients are fresh, and you can really taste the difference in every bite. The sushi was flavorful and well-balanced, with each roll and nigiri made with care. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

They also have table seating, which is great if you prefer a sit-down meal setting. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. One of the most fun surprises was the selection of unique Asian pops and ice creams for dessert—definitely not something you see everywhere.

“This might just be one of the best Omakase experiences in the GTA. From the moment you sit down, you know you are in for something special. The place is small and cozy and not at all pretentious. Chef Mitsuhiro Kaji oversees the whole operation and you see him at work right in front of you, which is a treat to observe. And the food is out of this world! The fish which is both local and from Japan, is exceptionally fresh and delicate. There is a unique variety as well, great for anyone adventurous who wants to explore beyond the typical sushi options.

All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant. While the price is high, it is much more reasonable than the comparable Omakase places in Toronto. If you want to treat yourself, definitely give Sushi Kaji a try.“
