“As the biggest of karaoke enthusiasts, my partner and I checked out Dat Cang Karaoke on Concession, for our date night out. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves singing karaoke to our hearts content. The staff was lovely and courteous, quick to respond to needs, and curious about our feedback as they are newly open and licensed. They also let us know that this was the first Wednesday night open for karaoke so it was especially nice to sneak in unanticipated and the only singers in the club. We both were impressed with their host system, sound quality, and especially stage lighting - it felt welcoming to sing in a space built with obvious care. There's plenty of comfortable seating arranged in groupings that enable you to sing from your seat or take the stage if desired. We did both and enjoyed the comfort of feeling like singing at home but in a lovely and well-tended space. The karaoke system is far superior to most currently used in North America. having myself been a karaoke host and a world champion of karaoke competition, I feel confident in saying that this is a program that is far more accessible to worldwide karaoke options in multiple no languages. I was really impressed with its accessibility and performance and also impressed with the sound quality which was definitely above standard. Both of us look forward to coming back again and with some friends for many fun nights of karaoke to come! Thank you for listening to us!! 🎶🎤“
“We enjoyed a lovely New Years lunch today. Food was delicious and still reasonable. The service was great. “Undefined is a true gem in downtown Hamilton! From the moment we walked in, the welcoming staff made us feel at home. Mary Karger, the General Manager, sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Chef Chris and Sous Chef Bryant's culinary expertise shines through in every dish. And Amanda, our bartender, crafted cocktails with fresh, high-quality ingredients that were simply delightful. The menu boasts diverse, locally sourced, and seasonal offerings that cater to various tastes. We loved the share plates, particularly the Whipped Feta & Roasted Plum and "Pad Thai" Fries. Each bite was a masterclass in flavours and textures. The Daily Oysters were expertly prepared, with a perfect balance of horseradish, Sriracha, and rhubarb-cucumber mignonette. Presentation was stunning, and the taste profiles matched the descriptions precisely. Whether you're dining solo, on a date, or with friends before a show, Undefined is the perfect spot. Its premium downtown location makes it easily accessible to many amenities. Kudos to the entire team – 5 stars well-deserved! We'll be back soon.“

“Didn't go in with many expectations but my brother told me this place was great. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a very cool aesthetic. The restaurant is an old farmhouse that's been fully converted and each room still retains the feel of whatever type of room it previously was but with it's own unique character. There's a lot of fun Canadiana decor throughout the restaurant and the menu (we came for breakfast) had a lot of staples with unique and elevated twists (I had a delicious benny). It's a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth it!“

“Went for brunch after seeing good reviews. Tried the champagne pancakes and the concierge breakfast. Here's my take:
The breakfast plate was composed well with your usual breakfast items, made with good ingredients. Taste skewed a little sweet with the sugar cured bacon AND the maple sausage, which individually were fine. The sheer size of the challah slices was unwieldy, which was a shame since the blueberry preserve served with it was delectable and would have been wonderful spread on the bread.
The champagne pancakes were fine, but the texture of the cakes didn't match how inviting they looked. They cakes themselves were not the fluffiest I've had and parts seemed a touch doughy. The best item on the plate was the raspberry and champagne coulis, coupled with the devonshire cream, which I kept going back to for more.
Overall not a bad place at all for brunch if you are nearby.“
