“Food was decent, wings and sauced chicken fingers were extremely spicy so we should have asked them to make it less and the wings should be cooked a bit more. A family had spilled water all over the floor and it was not cleaned up while we were there. We liked the vibe overall though.“

“We had an unimpressive visit at this Kelsey's a couple of months ago, and the manager reached out asking us to try them again. We visited again and had a very, very different experience -- the food was hot and the server gave us the perfect amount of attention. I admit that I really miss my long-time favourite Cracked Peppercorn Burger which is no longer on the menu. However the menu does have a good variety so there are choices: my dining companion had a steak and swiss with garden salad, and I had a bacon cheeseburger with a really excellent caesar salad. Thanks to the manager for reaching out to me and I'm glad we went back to Kelsey's.“

“We celebrated our daughter's birthday there, it was her choice of restaurant. We had an appetizer of calamari. One plate was just enough for 4 of us, we had 2 or 3 strips each. It was breaded and cut in strips rather than rings. Served with sauce and a piece of lime. Birthday girl had a regular Bellini cocktail, it was very impressive. It was served frozen. She ordered the chicken Shoyu Ramen, it was served with lots of yummy vegetables. The chicken was left out by accident but Adam our server promptly fixed that and brought it back with the chicken. One of had the steak sandwich served with fries. He said it alright. I had the Thai green curry with shrimp. It was served hot and tasty with 2 large crispy noodles. One more person in our party ordered the Ahi Tuna plate and replaced the rice with more vegetables which was happily accommodated. She enjoyed it very much. For dessert the bday girl was offered a free choice from the menu. She had the cookie with ice cream which we all tasted, it was really good! We also ordered a cappuccino, regular coffee and I found a jewel on the menu, a drink called The Shaft! It was a steal at 5$, 1 oz of vodka, Kahlua, cold brew and milk, shaken foamy and served on ice with a straw. I really enjoyed it. Adam our server was very attentive and frien dly. When asked what he recommended from the menu he gave us a few choices, two of which we ordered. I appreciate when a server actually recommends dishes with honesty rather than say "oh everything is good here". I will comment that we were cold where we were seated even though the entrance has double doors. Also, the lighting was a bit harsh which didn't make for nice pictures. Overall, the price was reasonable but we did not order any of the meat or ribs which are higher priced. The Bellini was only 11$ which seems like a steal these days with cocktails running at 15$ plus at most places. We would return.“

“A beautiful dining space in the Clubhouse and on the patio overlooking the golf course! Great food and service! We had a group of 20 people and the food was quickly prepared and, by all accounts, delicious! I had the Mediterranean salad ... yummy! They have specials for happy hour, 3 to 5 pm“

“AMAZING WEDDING CATERING! We are just back from our honeymoon in Nassau, and as we organize our new lives as Mr and Mrs, we can't stop talking about what the Royals Restaurant did at our wedding. That evening, the chatter was surely talking about the food. And guests are still talking about it. The meals were outstanding. The Pesto Chicken with Roasted Red Peppers & Goat Cheese, the Roasted Sirloin with Yorkshire Pudding, the hors d'oeuvres, just to recap a few.... were thoroughly enjoyed. With Chef Derrick carving the beef, he definitely finished off the buffet line in style. Plates were full, and then enjoyed by each guest. The flavours were simply succulent. But it was not just about the food. Melissa and Lindsay were at the venue far before the guests arrived. The place settings were precisely arranged ensuring that everything was lined up. The stemware and cutlery were perfect. Their management of the setup was amazing. The staff supported all the guests so professionally. A big thank you to Melanie, for operating the bar with class. To all the staff in the background, our sincere thank you as well. From the first minute that the catering trailer showed up, to the last minute when Melissa & Lindsay left at 1:00am... we were thrilled that the Royals Restaurant were a part of our wedding day. Many thanks to you!“

“Wonderful as always. Been here several times because I have to show off this Stittsville gem to everyone I know. This is the best brunch experience there is in the Ottawa area. Great and attentive service, delicious food, upscale ambience, the value is unmatched.“

“Amazing delicious like home made food, takeout from Uber was packaged perfectly“
“This place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just dropping by for the view. The marina is well-kept, and the sunsets over the water are gorgeous. I like how the clubhouse has decent food and a casual patio. Downsides? It’s not super beginner-friendly unless you’re joining a program, and parking can be tight during events. Still, it’s a solid spot to unwind by the water or get out on a boat.“

“I love supporting the students and I love to eat good food so it's a win-win for me. I went the first week of opening and I plan on going soon to see if things improved. The food was quite delicious (a little cold). The staff were nervous and awkward but doing their best. I'm sure their confidence will only increase as they become more experienced. I used to frequent George Brown's Culinary Student restaurant in Toronto and I'm happy to have found Algonquin's equivalent. See you soon 😊“

“A bit of a chaotic Saturday dinner. The restaurant recently reopened after a 6 week renovation. Front of house staff were friendly and the serving staff were very pleasant. It was clear that the restaurant was understaffed and serving staff were trying to cope by covering for each other. I did get a sense of a team approach to the serving, albeit very impersonal. We were 6 guests and about half of our meals were really good and the other half were so-so. Apparently there were staff shortages in the kitchen as well. Given the delays, there was alot of client movement in the dining area; kids running around, adults going back and forth to the toilet, etc. The vide was more like a diner than a restaurant... not terrible, just not what we had expected or wanted. I will return in a few months when things hopefully settle down.“

“Visited Montana's 13th November 2022 with a group of 7 other people. The atmosphere was good, enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and conversation, followed by our server taking our meal order. She was very efficient and ensured all our needs were met. The order took longer than expected to arrive, and when it did, the food was just warm. We explained to the server who was apologetic, the food was heated to our satisfaction, and enjoyed by all. We were visited by the Manager In order to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, following the issue we had experienced. She very kindly told us she was giving us a reduction on the total price as a sign of goodwill, and also provided free dessert for the group. I would say that was an excellent show of hospitality on the part of Montana's, and we will definitely be arranging future visits.“

“We booked half of the restaurant for my mother's 80th birthday today and WOW! I don't even know where to begin... We were about 50 people and the service was EXCEPTIONAL! Thomas, Rachel and the other staff took the best care of us and really stood out! Thomas even offered to help with anything we needed, even set up our decorations! Not only was the service top notch, but the food was fantastic and we didn't have to wait long for the food at all! Our guests were so impressed with this restaurant, and I gotta say, so am I! I'm so glad we chose this place to celebrate this important milestone. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! And a special thanks to Justin for showing me around and accepting our booking with such a short notice. You guys are amazing!“

“I haven't been, but it's my name. Five stars.“
“There are ample Park and Ride locations in Kanata/Ottawa where you can park for free and take public transportation at a minimal cost. The nice thing about public transportation out of and into the Canadian Tire Center is the city buses have a separate exit. While people are waiting to get out of the paid parking at the Arena you are already out of the area after taking the city bus a short 5 minute bus ride away to the terry fox transfer station at the Centrum shopping center after your event. If you haven’t parked there you can transfer to the area you parked or uber at a dramatically reduced cost. The city of Ottawa has many park and ride locations if you are coming to the arena for an event. Public transportation and pedestrians are given priority immediately after events so keep this in mind when choosing to park at the CTC. The arena staff are very helpful and friendly. 5stars. The area is generally very safe compared to other big events but remember to be aware of your surroundings. My only complaint is the lax enforcement of smoking or vaping during certain events. A hockey game wouldn’t have the venue in a cloud of smoke, nor would it be tolerated by fans, but certain concerts it is ignored. Keep this in mind when bringing children to concerts. The concessions are very expensive . The most cost effective concessions would be hot dogs, popcorn in a refillable cup, soda in a refillable cup. You can refill the popcorn and soda multiple times. Great to remember if you are going with kids to a family friendly event. Bring baggies. Sharing is caring.“

“This was our second time at this café bistro and we had a pleasant experience both times. The service was outstanding—quick and genuinely friendly. The food was good; their feature item is mussels - a lot of options to choose from. The flavors were decent, with some refinement. It's definitely a welcoming spot with a lot of potential!“

“Lovely visit to Montanas tonight. Spinach dip was delicious as always! Zoe was our server and she was absolutely amazing! So attentive and kind! Will definitely be back specifically for Zoe! My boyfriend had the Long Island icetea and was raving about it! I had the peach sangria and it was amazing!“
