“Tonight, my girl and I went to Rockford's for the first time, and we will make it a regular place to go.I will not lie, when we walked, in my first thought was "there are more TV's in here than square footage". First mistake... I judged the book by its cover.Second mistake was looking at the prices on the menu and pre-judging what the food portions would be like... though you cannot blame me entirely because there are many places in the GTA that promise great things with "greater" prices - and fail. Our order consisted of 2 beers on tap, 1 onion ring appetizer and 2 burger dinners... the Mushroom & Swiss and the Peppercorn.Total before tip was $80.Now that I've got that out of the way... let me tell you how Rockford's sets themselves apart from everyone else.First, our waitress was genuine and complimentary from the heart and from the start. We first were seated at a bar-high table and she mentioned that a booth would open soon and sure enough we were waiting for our order from the comfort of our booth.Second, our onion rings quickly made their way to our table... Actual onion rings!! Not thin over-fried rings of charcoal with a hint of onion, but perfectly shaped and batter covered onion rings that were delicious, not to mention plentiful!Third, our burgers... let me tell you people something... I have eaten a lot of burgers in my 51 years and my stomach can back it up... there is nobody, N O B O D Y that has ever done a burger like this... never-mind the peppercorn ranch on it... NOBODY has ever made a burger this big, this juicy, this flavorful, than the master burger craftsman at Rockford's.My girl and I both took the top bun off because we saw the challenge in front of us... it didn't help... I had to pause in eating this meaty craftsmanship just to breathe and allow my innards to find place for the rest of it!If you have never been to Rockford's and you like burgers here's my advice - don't eat for six days, get in the car, take your brother, sister, uncle, friend, neighbor from down the road (who cares!) and just go!! I kid you not when I say that these burgers are the best you will have ever had, period. We will be back...“
“We go there every Sunday after church and I tried many different meals. Some are better then others. Eggs Benedict is my favorite with huge cup of delicious latte. If you like going for breakfast this place is the one.Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian but they have lots of options for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is great plus kids get paper and color pencil to drow on. So all good there.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“
“I recently had a wonderful experience at Montana's Bar and Grill. The highlight of my visit was definitely the mouthwatering ribs that I ordered. They were incredibly tasty, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. I couldn't resist going back for seconds! In addition to the delicious food, I was also impressed by the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Sue. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made us feel welcome and valued as customers.Overall, I highly recommend Montana's Bar and Grill for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The ribs are absolutely delicious, and the service, especially from Sue, is top-notch. You won't be disappointed!“
“Asmit made me the best Bacon Double Cheese poutine! Most times I find that at other locations of New York Fries, they don't put enough cheese so by the time you get to the bottom there's usually just plain fries with very little cheese but when Asmit made mine every single fry had cheese on it! It really hit the spot and I came back just to compliment her because it was that good! ? Thank you!!!“
“My friend brought me to this place saying this is the “best wings place”…and the wings here are really good but by far the best thing about this place is Sam and his passion for a real hockey franchise that is on full display at that restaurant. It’s a small place but provides really good service and a great atmosphere for families and hockey fans alike. The only downside during my visit was the crème brûlée, it was the worst one I have ever had with chunky consistency but otherwise everything else was good. I will definitely be coming back here for more wings and fun!“
“Frilu is an absolute culinary marvel! Every tasting course tantalizes the palate with bursts of divine flavors. Imagine my surprise when they offered a non-alcoholic beverage pairing, meticulously crafted to enhance each dish. Each house-brewed cocktail was a masterpiece in itself. The presentation of the food was nothing short of artistry, adorned with exquisite decor. And oh, the Bison, trout and scallop! They simply melted in my mouth, each bite savored with the most divine sauce imaginable. I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend this gem of a restaurant—a small, quaint haven for true food lovers like myself. Frilu is perfect for an intimate dinner with your special person.“
“Visited on a Saturday six thirty and all the tables were full, however, there was space at the bar. The staff were friendly, yet, very busy. I was in no rush and noted the specials. Considering how busy the bar staff were service was pretty good. The nachos were good, yet for $22 I consider that expensive although the the price you pay at a lot of places now. The nachos were good. Note the chill's were very hot. I was tempted by a half rack of ribs. You get six, although very tasty with the Texas bold sauce I would go for the ribs unless it's a special ribs night because at over $20 for six ribs I consider that expensive. I had to check the bill and I noticed the default on the tip was 20%.“
“Jess was amazing at Montana’s Kitchener location. So friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. And overall very personable and friendly. Food was delicious. We ordered many different items and was not disappointed at all. We had a great experience and will come back again for sure.“
“Visited this restaurant for the first time today with family. What a cute spot for breakfast! A mature atmosphere with great service. Everyone was so kind. They have a lot of regulars there and you could tell as everyone was so positive! Someone even came to our table after hearing us talk about dogs for a while and showed all the dogs he walks in the city!On top of the great atmosphere, the food was delicious! Our family of 6 all got something different and we were not disappointed! The breakfast potatoes were really yum and all the eggs came out perfectly. Even their coffee was good!We will definitely choose here again when we are looking for a tasty breakfast spot with great service. Thank you!“
“We only had beer so I can only do review for beer for now. We went for happy hour on both days. After 8pm until closing time. The service was a little slow I find, but since we didn't order food and just wanted to chat it was okay. I was surprised didn't see too many people in the restaurant on Sunday around 8pm. They used to have fried chicken thigh or leg and not just wings, I wish they can get that back. I do suggest the Alfredo pasta with either chicken or shrimp that's what I liked to order before.“
“My wife and I went for lunch at Kelsey’s in Newmarket/EG yesterday. Our server Amy had fresh coffee in our hands very quickly and continued with friendly and very efficient service throughout the meal. Just what we needed on a windy, rainy day.“
“I just wanted to give a shout out to our server Adam. He was very attentive to my sister and I. Making little side notes of our dietary needs and acknowledged my sisters birthday as we were there to celebrate. Adam was professional, personable, and very pleasant. Certainly went above and beyond for us. Great job!!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and gluten free“
“If you're in need of a greasy diner breakfast, this is the place! Classic diner/dive experience. One of the cutest spots that Richmond Hill has to offer. A real piece of history. Warning: it can get quite busy on the weekends and it can also get very hot inside.Parking: Parking is available in the back and there is a somewhat hidden back entrance that I feel a lot of people don't know about“
“Hands down the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. I could eat that all day. Must be the sauce! We both liked the lamb and the crust on it was delectable. My only slight complaint was the wait to receive our mains but we came there on a Saturday night so I’m sure weeknight service is much breezier.“
“Shimeko cooper was an amazing service very cute and so attentive and went over and beyond the call of duty me and my family came from out of time and had difficult time and he was so sweet by encouraging us as he was not so busy we would like to thank him so much for his “
“Check this place out! You’ll be happy you did.Having grown up in Aurora and recently moved back, the rebrand and new ownership of this restaurant has enhanced the town further.Great atmosphere, amazing value for the food especially given recent increases on all costs since Covid, and awesome service. The owner, Robert, checked on us even though our server was absolutely exceptional (this visit as well as our last a few weeks ago).Great place for kids as well - it’s our 7 year old’s favourite place to dine out in Aurora (and ours too!)We will be back and are looking forward to it.“
“The service is excellent, friendly, I felt very much cared for. The food is delicious, special and very well presented. The dessert was heavenly. A wonderful lunch.Parking: Small parking lot behind the restaurant - a large free parking lot very close across the street.“

“I was hesistant to come here, with all the options nearby but for convinience we came as we were staying at the hotel. It was our daughter’s 5th birthday and we’re coming for the night to do some local attractions. The service was excellent and the food was very delicious!. I had the chicken curry and it was a fusion type curry, great pieces of broccoli, carrot, zucchini. My husband had the pork chop and it was also excellent. The vegetables were so tasty and chop was cooked perfectly. Kids meals were also very good! We tried their burger and chicken strips. I’d definitely recommend. We all had why we were craving and left very satisfied :)Kid-friendliness: We had a booth and it was not too busy, ate around 6pm on a Saturday evening.“
“Came back to this location for the first time in over a decade. The food was incredible and the new Reno’s breathed a new life to the armopshere. Our server Alp was attentive, friendly and added to our experience - be sure to ask to sit in his section“
“Food, service, and atmosphere are all great, but the food can get quite pricey. It can also get very loud when there's a game on, but not really a negative. We still had a great time. Their chicken fingers are an all time consistent hit. We also enjoyed the tuna poke bowl, but at $27 it felt exorbitant. We also really liked the lobster and crab dip. Kids menu is very fairly priced and portions are quite generous. Service is attentive and efficient.“
“We decided last minute to take our 3 year old to this location for dinner Saturday night. It wasn’t very busy so we sat right away. The server was extremely kind to my son and made our experience very enjoyable. The food was fresh and great, no complaints! We will be back.“
“We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality food and the professional service, which was the opposite of what we experienced a couple of years ago (so at that time we thought we would never come back). This time my steak was perfectly done (medium) and my wife had a mago chipotle chicken that she also enjoyed. Even the coffee (Americano and espresso) was just great! So bravo Moxies Newmarket! We'll definitely come back.“
“Wait staff and cook are always pleasant and personable. I go not as often as I'd like, and bring my dear friend when I do. The menu prices are very reasonable, and something I can manage, allowing a well deserved tip for wait staff and cook. The food gives a "home-cooked" feeling, and I haven't been disappointed with it yet.??“
“arrived before Wonderland opened with the family. A delightful and amiable waiter named Tea welcomed us. Her suggestions for food were much appreciated by our family. French connection, sunset wonderful with the pancakes and I had the meat lovers wrap.Everything was very, extremely tasty! With two small children, we appreciate their speed and efficiency. We request tea here and heartily suggest it! She is the greatest of the best!“
“Fabulous European-Canadian style menu (all items ordered arrived timely, tastefully well-prepared and were exceptionally savory). Delightful and adept staff. Exquisite scenery that seems to enchant with an ambience of relict historical charm.“
