“I wish I lived closer, it’s my favourite Chinese take out within the greater Ottawa and Ottawa in general. My family and I drive out on special occasions like Christmas Eve and today - Father’s Day. The shredded beef chow mein has been my fave since I was a teen and my parents would order it every Christmas Eve. I’m 42 now lol.“

“Our first time in was excellent, some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The server was wonderful and checked in on us often to make sure everything was ok. Everything was fresh, lots of sauce, and the chicken balls were fantastic.“

“Everything is simply awesome. The menus are simple, with a lot if options. The service is very polite and friendly (and online ordering is a big plus), food is delivered very promptly (one time it was 15 minutes early!). The food portions are generous, but quality is not sacrificed for quantity. What's a cool plus is that they use a mix of Styrofoam and reusable plastic containers (not only better for storage but a little less wasteful). I have only eaten 3 times from here, but have been very happy all times. The fried rice, general tao chicken, chicken balls, and egg rolls (among like 5 others I've tried) have all tasted great. Definitely think I've found my new Chinese delivery / take out place!“

They can get busy on special occasion days (like New Years Eve, Mothers Day and Canada Day) but we know this and order with this in mind. “We ordered our Chinese food from the Country Place Chinese Restaurant for the first time today. The food arrived hot and was just about the best Chinese food we have eaten in a very long time! We asked for no onions and they cooked all our dishes that way, which is very important to me. I highly recommend Country Place if you are looking for a wonderful meal!

“Ordered delivery and it was delivered hot in an hour as promised. Chicken balls were crispy and tender inside, red sauce was yummy. Egg rolls were skinny but tasty. Hot n sour soup needs a bit more salt, more heat and more acidity for my taste. Scheszuen veggies and rice were a nice side and I appreciated the free pepsi and fortune cookies. Was better than expected and would order again. One small thing is they market NO MSG but this has been debunked now. We love umami just ask Uncle Roger. Fuiy-OH!“

“Dropped by on a whim and sat in for food. We were the only people there, with everyone else popping in for takeout. Ordered the open ended egg rolls, general tao and beef and broccoli with rice. Everyone was friendly and they gave us our space, but checked in with us to make sure we were doing well. General Tao was mild with a slight crunch that was satisfying, and the beef and broccoli was saucy and the broccoli had a good crunch to it. The open ended egg rolls were absolutely delicious! My stomach is always hit or miss with Chinese food, so we’ll see how it fairs, but I was pleasantly surprised and will return to try out more dishes!“
