“Best Chinese food I’ve had in Ottawa! My group and I dined in at the restaurant and ordered the family dinner for four. Let me tell you…the portions were AMAZING, the food tastes AMAZING and wasn’t not dry at all. Also best wonton soup, fried rice and chicken balls I’ve had. Also, the restaurant decor is so beautiful, I wondered why more people don’t dine in here!?“

Two employees in particular, Tracy and Briana, showed great proficiency in serving customers, as they were incredibly friendly, punctual and overall provided us with an amazing experience.In terms of food, the taste and freshness of the ingredients certainly exceeds my expectations and is well above average compared to most of the other restaurants that i frequent.The atmosphere was great, and very befitting for the theme of the restaurant. “Super excited to find a Chinese restaurant that has very authentic Cantonese flavours and is probably one of the only places in Ottawa that has a similar taste to what you can find in Toronto. Wok Hey seems to have inherited the Google Maps page of the previous restaurant but it is in fact under new ownership since about 7 months ago.We got the pepper salt pork chop, fish with tofu, and stir fried rice noodles with beef. Everything was cooked well and the seasoning is spot on for our tastes. The noodles had some wok hei flavour, the pork chop was fried nicely and with a good amount of aromatics, and the fish tofu had a freshly fried tofu and a good sauce that held its texture till the end of the meal.Staff are very nice. 10% off pick up orders. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.“

“Parking: The restaurant is in a mini mall in a residential area. There is plenty of parking for pick up or you can get your food delivered.The food has always been tasty, only this last time the egg rolls were too salty for my taste and I like salt! “This is a great restaurant, we were very happy with our order. The General Tao chicken was delicious and just the right amount of spice (ie: not very) and used the lean chicken breast so it was not as fatty as others I've had elsewhere. The shrimp low mein was tasty and delicious, noodles perfectly al-dente and generous on the shrimp. And the chicken fried rice was also a generous amount, and had bits of chicken breast in it. We had an issue with one of our dishes (it tasted weird), and without further questions, the waitress apologized and offered to replace our dish. Now that is how you treat customers! Most importantly, the negative reviews prompted me to write this one. The quality of this food is fantastic and I have never once been disappointed.“
