We came from Barrhaven at recommendation. We have tried and found all places in Barfhaven not great tasting. This is why we took longer drive to Manotick.

“My family and I got takeout from Pearl House and all 4 of us thought it was outstanding. We really enjoyed the jumbo egg rolls and the chow mein. It was fresh, hot and well priced. The restaurant is very cute and although we didn’t eat in, it gives a really authentic vibe which I loved. The woman who cashed us out, was kind and ensured we had everything we needed. We will definitely order from here again.“

“Rich and flavorful braised beef noodle soup, tender beef, and comforting pickled greens noodles. Stir-fried noodles had a nice chewy texture, and the sesame buns were warm and fluffy. Good portions and satisfying overall. Would come back again.“

“Ordered a dozen egg roll, General Tso, Cantonese chow mein, chicken fried rice and chicken balls. The chicken balls come with more chicken than breading at a 70/30 ratio. The chow mein was very good and flavourful with fresh chicken shrimp and pork. Chicken fried rice was good same as most chinese spots. The General Tso on the other hand was a huge miss. It came bland, not too spicy and the sauce was broken and more watery than thick. Egg rolls were as they always have been for years- the best in the city.“

“Everything is simply awesome. The menus are simple, with a lot if options. The service is very polite and friendly (and online ordering is a big plus), food is delivered very promptly (one time it was 15 minutes early!). The food portions are generous, but quality is not sacrificed for quantity. What's a cool plus is that they use a mix of Styrofoam and reusable plastic containers (not only better for storage but a little less wasteful). I have only eaten 3 times from here, but have been very happy all times. The fried rice, general tao chicken, chicken balls, and egg rolls (among like 5 others I've tried) have all tasted great. “We ordered our Chinese food from the Country Place Chinese Restaurant for the first time today. The food arrived hot and was just about the best Chinese food we have eaten in a very long time! We asked for no onions and they cooked all our dishes that way, which is very important to me. I highly recommend Country Place if you are looking for a wonderful meal!

Great service me and my mom called today the 9th of January and were ten min away (4:50pm) and she said 45 minutes and we asked if she could do it any faster.
