“We found this café on our weekday bike walk ride. From the outside, it looked closed and we hesitated to go in. But I’m glad we did! The inside was very spacious and had a great vibe. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. We had coffees and a scone but they also served salads and sandwiches. The food was delicious. We will definitely stop again when riding in that area.“

“It’s a gas station Tim Horton…. So sometimes it’s not stocked like a full restaurant, or sometimes the doughnuts are stale… it is what it is and people have to reconsider their expectations. Hidden gem alert! La Bottega Café inside Home Société at Pinecrest Plaza is my new favorite spot for coffee. The moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve stumbled onto a secret little slice of Italy — cozy, stylish, and full of the most delicious aromas.

The coffee? Perfect. Smooth, rich, and made with so much care — easily one of the best in Ottawa. But the real star… the sandwich. Hands down, the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I had the grilled Amalfi Sandwich. Chicken, fresh mozzarella and pesto. You can tell everything here is made with love and quality ingredients.

If you haven’t been yet, go. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep all to yourself — but it’s too good not to share. ☕️ 🥪 🌟“

“I didn't catch his name but there was a wonderful man (long dark hair, fantabulous earrings) who plugged my phone in for me when it died and was stranded waiting for a bus. Great sense of humor and a joy to talk to, I wish I knew his name.
Otherwise, I used to work in the area and despite short breaks they always got my drink ready in great time, nice and cleanly, great environment as it's attached to Indigo.“

“I'm going through some health issues and have a small baby, so I'd ordered a weeks worth of flash frozen meals. They are so, so good! They're healthy, tasty, and best of all no cooking involved. The portions are generous and I can feed myself, my Mom and my 16 month old loves them too. I'll be a returning weekly customer for sure.“

My husband and I had a bear in a sealed bag with pink or blue on it and asked if she could choose a red or blue snowman cookie, whichever the gender was and she went in the back quickly and did just that. “A thing that pleasantly surprised was that the devices did not have to be taken out, the new scanning machines see through the carryon bag full of electronics and passengers just put their carryon into the scanner, it slides through and you pick it up at the end. Thats all!! Cool.“
