“We visited Desi Bar & Grill yesterday on 14 Dec 2024. The experience was worth mentioning as the Desi Bar & Grill's Interior was quite impressive, with the relaxed feeling of an entertaining restaurant with the food, bar service, and server courtesy. It deserves a stars (*****) rating except for one suggestion. It is nice to hear the ever-green Indian Songs except for the loudness associated with the noise this created necessitating keeping it low will be dignified and relaxing for distinguished visitors to engage in audible mutual conversation rather than put restraint and blockage by loud music. Running of soft Indian 'Gazals' will add to the environment apart from Punjabi/Hindi songs.“

“The attention to detail with presentation reflects the taste of food. Both absolutely amazing! We had one appetizer the crispy chicken, tom yum pad thai and pineapple fried rice. Honestly everything was delicious and good sized portion. Everything under 70 for 2 people. I cannot complain, even have more than enough for leftover lunches!“

“Came on a bustling Sunday and was pleasantly surprised! I can't believe I've never been here after so many years of visiting the shops at don mills! I even had the pleasure of meeting JO the GM who was extremely hospitable and took me on a tour of their very extensive wine list. She suggested I get the bulgogi, vodka pasta with shrimp and sourdough, and wow was she right! It was the best meel ever and had me salivating from the first bite to the last.

I definitely will be back! Also shout out to the very polite host at the front who seemed to be running a tight ship, he was handling all the guests like a pro!“

“It was amazing service and food. Love the cool cherry blossom tree. It was a perfect atmosphere for my date night. The Okinawa breeze cocktail was so refreshing and a nice amount of citrus. As well, definitely recommend Bakudan sushi roll and aburi sushi.“

“Went in with 4 other friends for a medium room of Karaoke around 10PM.For our first time here, we had the pleasure of Zach being our server and his service was amazing. He walked us through how everything worked, how to pick songs using the machine, offered to hook up a laptop if we preferred using YouTube.Finding specific English songs was a bit difficult since it wasn't possible to filter for only English however Chinese and Korean seemed to be fine. The atmosphere and audio quality was decent. Their price for us was $50/hr for the whole group.Just want to give another shoutout to Zach for being super helpful and patient with us!“
