“I came here and ordered the large jerk pork for take out. Came out to be around $19 in total. The jerk pork tasted pretty good. Good mix of fatty and lean meat and good seasoning. I was expecting the gravy poured over the rice to have some flavor but it had no flavor at all. I actually liked the coleslaw that was served here. Good crunch and flavor. There are better and cheaper options for jerk pork in markham.“

“Stacey's has excellent value - great food at reasonable prices. The viral oxtail patty was absolutely delicious (although a bit on the greasy side, the bottom of the container was swimming in fat). There are some small bones in the oxtail so be careful when eating. I would definitely come back for more oxtail dishes!

We also tried the curry chicken roti, which had tons of chicken and not very many potatoes (compared to other roti places where the roti is almost 70% potato). The jerk chicken poutine was also good; fries were decent and the jerk chicken was very flavourful.

You should expect a line during the lunch rush on weekdays (from 12-1) so plan around that if you're in a rush. We visited during the busy lunch hour and had to wait over half an hour for our food.

It's mostly a takeaway place though they do have two tables if you want to dine in.“

“Had lunch at Sunset Caribbean Takeout & Catering and tried out their smoked jerk chicken which came with rice and peas and side coleslaw. I really enjoyed this smoked rendition of jerk chicken and the food overall was very flavorful. Also ordered a beverage which included pineapple, coconut, and flaxseed which was also very tasty. If you are in Scarborough, the East of Toronto, make sure to check out this take out restaurant. They are open 12-8 pm Mon-Fri, 8-8pm Sat. They have lunch specials on weekdays and have recently introduced breakfast Caribbean style on Saturdays too.“

Food was incredible and fairly priced, 5/5. Tried the jerk chicken and oxtail, both were absolutely amazing. Oxtail was fall off the bone. Jerk chicken was juicy and deeply flavourful - the best jerk chicken I’ve tried so far. Rice had nicely soaked up the gravy, very rich and deep flavours.

Visiting however is quite inconvenient. I recommend going in the middle of the day for lunch. Have tried previously visiting closer to end of day (1 hour before closing) but they had already ran out of jerk chicken. Also, payment accepted is cash and there are no ATMs nearby.“

“Amazing place for best tasting patties in town, plus serves delicious meals at very affordable prices (rarity in this town). Just had chicken curry that comes with rice and cabbage salad, worth the travel if you are in east end!

“We were in Scarborough after a very long time and came across Negril’s Jerk Hut. Since it’s Sunday and most Jerk restaurants are closed…this was the only restaurant close by and with decent reviews. Hands down the best jerk, coleslaw and rice and peas we have had since our trip to Jamaica. The food was fresh and flavourful. We also got their home made hot sauce on the side… AMAZING!! Highly recommend this place.“
