I didn't try the hot sauce but still found the chicken a bit spicy (but definitely tolerable). Good price and portions as well. Overall really nice place for some good jerk chicken.“

I've already visited two locations (both Markham locations). Service great and equally Jamaican taste.
But Dennisom location has more options besides patties.“

“Had lunch at Sunset Caribbean Takeout & Catering and tried out their smoked jerk chicken which came with rice and peas and side coleslaw. I really enjoyed this smoked rendition of jerk chicken and the food overall was very flavorful. Also ordered a beverage which included pineapple, coconut, and flaxseed which was also very tasty. If you are in Scarborough, the East of Toronto, make sure to check out this take out restaurant. They are open 12-8 pm Mon-Fri, 8-8pm Sat. They have lunch specials on weekdays and have recently introduced breakfast Caribbean style on Saturdays too.“

“Went into the restaurant today for lunch. Ordered two jerk chicken meals with rice and peas and coleslaw. Pure Jamaican vibes. Rice and peas really moist. Jerk seasoning was legit. Tasted like it was made from real spices not premade spices. Had a nice convo with the owner talking about business and the community. “We discovered Good Eats by Julian on Instagram and decided to give it a try for a family dinner. We ordered a variety of items, including the oxtail burgers, jerk chicken meals, and BBQ jerk chicken meals.

The setup is definitely unique—they operate out of a food truck in a GO Station parking lot. Because everything is cooked fresh, be prepared to wait a little while for your order. In our opinion, the wait was worth it.

The standout item for our family was the oxtail burger. My kids haven’t stopped talking about how huge it was and are already asking when we can go back for another one! The meal portions were a good, satisfying size, and everything we ordered was flavorful. If you’re trying to decide, I’d highly recommend the BBQ jerk chicken—it was a family favourite.

Overall, it was a unique experience that exceeded our expectations. Great food, friendly service, prices are fair, and we’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.“
