“The menu has good variety and the quality was good. Some items are a bit overpriced such as the drink menu. Our server was not great. Not happy and had too many tables so they did not do an adequate job of serving us. Would maybe try again but definitely not the same server and maybe a different location.“

“Came to Papa Giuseppe to celebrate Valentine’s day and as an early anniversary lunch. We had a reservation so there was no wait time at all.

We ordered a margarita pizza to share and got a pasta each. The table we were sat was a bit small (generally all the tables were a bit on the smaller side) so just keep that in mind if you’re looking to order a lot.

I’ve heard a lot of opinions about the portion sizes here but speaking for myself, my share of pizza and my own pasta was more than enough to satisfy. The flavours were also amazing for everything but the pizza was definitely the standout from how light but delicious it was.

Also when booking the reservation, we did make a mention that it was an early anniversary lunch and the staff prepared a small complimentary cheesecake for us which I found so sweet!! And it was the perfect dessert to end off the lunch on!

Considering the fact that the restaurant was at full capacity, the food did not take long to come but it took a long time for the server to come over. Not their fault though, they looked under staffed. I wish they had one or two more staff taking care of seating and ordering.“

“Delicious food! We came on Valentine’s Day at 5:30 PM and the restaurant was still fairly quiet, though it started to fill up by the time we were leaving. We were there for their Valentine’s Day set menu, which included an appetizer, main, and dessert for $55 per person. For starters, we ordered the caprese salad and the wild mushroom soup, both were excellent. For mains, we chose the lamb dish and the fettuccine bistecca. The pasta was delicious! I did ask for it to be made spicy, but unfortunately didn’t find it spicy at all. That said, I still really enjoyed it. Dessert was definitely the highlight for me. The panna cotta was incredibly smooth and creamy. I could have eaten five of them! Our total came to around $150 after taxes and tip. Overall, we had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner and would definitely return.“

The food was hot when it reached our table. The food was absolutely delicious, my mom enjoyed her grilled cheese and french fries, and I enjoyed my chicken quesadilla. The only thing I can suggest is to ensure that your patron always have more than a half glass full. This is good for tips, and this is good for sales. Other than that, everything was superb.“

The food was very good with many options, and she gave us the option of using her décor entirely, using some of her décor and bringing our own. We were able to create the ambiance we desired. The food is always great at any Eastside Marios location but it all comes down to service. Not all location has great service, but you do get one of those times where you have an outstanding service. Today Michelle (employee # 216) was outstanding. She was friendly and always has a smile when she asks if we were ok and need anything from her. She is very attentive to her customers and very polite. I would definitely go back to this location and would ask for Michelle again to look after us with our visit.“

“Had a really great experience at Pomodoro Italian Restaurant. I went with my wife and my parents, so it was one of those dinners where you hope everything goes smoothly — and it did.

We ordered the tomato sauce pasta and the rosé pasta, and both were excellent. The flavors were balanced, the sauces tasted fresh, and the portions were just right. You can tell they care about the food.

We also tried a couple of drinks from their menu. It honestly felt like the staff might have been making them for the first time — but here’s the thing — the drinks turned out great. No complaints at all. Sometimes effort and attitude matter more, and they delivered.

Service was good, food was good, and the overall vibe made it an enjoyable evening for all of us. Definitely a place I’d come back to with family again.

The previous owner was a wonderful person and I'm not saying that this place has lost much it just has changed ownership and many of the staff changed.
