Well, well, well, OMG this grill cheese is worthy of a Michelin star.

I have travelled to 63 countries, trained as a Sous Chef and have never had such a tasty grilled cheese like this in my life!

“A sweet Italian couple, Cosimo and his wife, serve up fresh homemade food every day. This deli is our go-to spot for incredible veal parm and meatball sandwiches. We usually go once a week. The meatballs are to die for!!! We need to support local mom and pop shops like this or they'll disappear people!“

“Excellent lunch with our Port Credit based kids at Maranello Cafe Saturday afternoon. A gorgeous day to eat al fresco on the cute little patio behind the Cafe. Among us we shared a range of hot and cold sandwiches - Prosciutto, Mortadella and from the hot side, chicken and Nonna's meatballs. The portions are generous yet reasonably priced. While we had no leftovers, we were all comfortably full.
When I finally went in to settle the bill, the staff member remarked that we seemed to be having such a good visit that they didn't want to make us feel rushed. Such a good experience. I don't regret picking a sandwich over pasta, but I'll be back to try that next.

You can even easily catch some Vietnamese people coming here to purchase a bunch of Banh Mi to take away since they don’t live in the neighborhood or just visiting Toronto. “Courteous and friendly staff. It's a very small outlet, so they tend to run out of things late in the evening. I wish they would manage inventory better.

Vegetarian options: Few, but good options for vegetarians. I usually get the foot-long with vegetarian pattie. Subway sometimes provides a buy-one-get-one-free coupon on foot-longs, and this makes for a good deal.

Dietary restrictions: Few options, but much better variety than Tim Hortons. McDonald's is a complete no-go for folks with dietary restrictions.

Parking: Ample free parking, but as obvious, the ones closest to stores are always taken

Kid-friendliness: There is nothing to mention here as the outlet is too small. Subway went cheapo and got the smallest real estate possible.

Wheelchair accessibility: I would not recommend this store for wheelchair enabled folks, since the size is abysmally small for even the non-wheelchair ones. At any time, there cannot be more than six people in the customer area.“

“I had a thumbs up experience at this location. The customer service representative that tended to me, Sandeep, was able to resolve an issue with a coupon I had with such grace and understanding. What also caught my attention was her diligence she exercised in handling the sandwiches that I purchased; the sandwichs' contents were neatly placed and packaged. To the manager, I commend you for hiring such an associate.

“The person running the place on most days is very friendly. The food is good.

What stands out to me the most is that the person who prepared the order (I believe the owner) gave us plenty of extra veggies (jalapeños and olives) like we had requested in our online order. This is in stark contrast to many of the other subway restaurants that I have visited where getting an adequate amount of veggies on your sandwich or on the side can be difficult or even not possible. That is why this will be my go-to subway in the area from now on.

Biggest problem in my opinion is that the hours are a bit short. Closes way too early for me because I will usually want to go at nighttime, around midnight.“
