“We decided to try The Old Winery Restaurant during our weekend getaway at Queen's Landing.

The restaurant had a great vibe. It was busy, bustling, and full of energy when we arrived. The decor is lovely and gives the place a warm, inviting feel. We were a group of six adults and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to make a last-minute reservation on a weekend and still get seated in the main dining area.

The menu had lots of appealing options, including wood-fired pizza (always a favorite of mine), and the portion sizes were generous. I ordered the Caesar salad and Calamari, which ended up being perfect for sharing with friends. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared.

Service was fantastic throughout the evening, and the drinks were solid. I had a Long Island. The highlight of the meal for me was the Belgian chocolate crème brûlée for dessert. It was absolutely divine and a perfect way to end the night.

Overall, it’s a great place to try if you’re staying in the area or enjoy checking out different restaurants. Prices were fairly reasonable for Niagara-on-the-Lake, but it’s probably more of a special-occasion or occasional stop for me rather than somewhere I’d visit regularly. Still, we had a wonderful evening with friends and I’m glad we experienced it. 🍷🍽️“

“Excellent meal enjoyed tonight at Carmelo’. Highly recommend the Malfadine pasta with braised rib ragu! A glass of John Phelps red Cabernet and Carmelo’s salad! Perfect meal.“

“Food was literally at the top with the best prepared meals my wife and I had ever enjoyed. The owners son(part owner and chef) actually sat us and chatted for a cpl minutes which was very nice and then on to our server(waitress) she was newly moved into the States from Canada and such an amazing person! She was super professional yet personal and did an amazing job!! Definitely will be back!!“

Their communication is positive from the get go and their son Mani who delivered the meal to our office was delightful. “Ordered here for the first time. Had them cater my work event. Food arrived hot and well packaged. Cooked very well and with care. The lasagna was felt very nostalgic me. Made with mini meatballs reminded me of how my Nona made it. Chicken was seasoned perfectly and their tomato sauce was delicious. Will be ordering here again. Thank you so much!“
