“We had a family event last night at their restaurant. I can't stress how great the value is here, and the food quality was top shelf. I have eaten food cooked by some of the best chefs in the world and this was every bit as good. the staff were attentive but not at all intrusive. very accommodating for our large group of 15 people. Their shrimp and calamari platter was cooked perfectly, not at all rubbery, with a divine sauce to dip. Pasta nicely al denté. Calabrese antipasto, nice bread spread. Perfect, and I do mean PERFECTLY, cooked steak, chicken, and sausages. Their pizza is simple but lovely balanced between crisp and chewy. Not too thick, not too thin. Arancini were great. I highly recommend them for your next family event, or just a quiet night out for the family! Thank you to all the staff and the chef for making our family event a success, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!“

We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. We were served our drinks and appetizers within 1/2 hour but our main course came about an hour after but it was worth the wait. We will definitely return🍾🎉“

“One of the best places I have been to lately Toronto, great authentic Italian food, with amazing service. If I go to a place with the most amazing food and I don’t get great service that just changes my entire experience. At Tutto Pronto eventhogh our servant was not Italian but he gave us the Italian restaurant experience. I love my appetizer, we loved the main and we love the grappa at the end. I just wish we were seated on the main floor as the second floor felt a little too low of a ceiling and didn’t give me the true restaurant experience. Overall definitely recommend 😋“

“Been eating at Cali's since I was a kid downtown at the original location.

I always anticipate a decline in the quality, but they have managed to keep the same experience for as long as I could remember.

It's a tad on the expensive side, but in all honesty, I never leave unsatisfied. I'll go for the veal, at least a few times every month.

No matter how many other places I try a veal, they never really match up how Cali's makes it.

“Last night my husband and I had the distinct pleasure to dine at Boccaccio and be greeted by Chef Luciano himself. He provides personable service and delicious food that more than exceeded our expectations and dining experience as this was our first visit…and we will definitely go back! We enjoyed the small bites of spicy calamari and merluzzo, tuna salad and homemade pasta (it’s all made fresh any pasta) with seafood. The sauce was so on point!
The olive oil with the complimentary warm buns is so authentic and produced in Calabria from Luciano’s family olive grove and honestly we would have been ok savouring this olive oil all night it was that good! Kudos to Luciano and the authenticity he and his staff deliver to stay true to the true flavours of Italian cuisine. Highly recommend!“

Last time, I had their pan-seared salmon fillet topped with a honey garlic sauce and served with roasted potatoes & vegetables, which I highly recommend. Great outdoor patio spaces too. Quiet. Parking fills up fast in their small lot but you can park on the side streets for free. Service was friendly & attentive. Ask for Mike, he's great!“

We tried the Gnocchi Alla Vodka, Tuscan pizza, arancini, and platters and the portions were massive. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the service was friendly and fast. It’s hard to find a place these days where you actually feel like you got more than your money's worth, but this is it.“
