“We had a family event last night at their restaurant. I can't stress how great the value is here, and the food quality was top shelf. I have eaten food cooked by some of the best chefs in the world and this was every bit as good. the staff were attentive but not at all intrusive. very accommodating for our large group of 15 people. Their shrimp and calamari platter was cooked perfectly, not at all rubbery, with a divine sauce to dip. Pasta nicely al denté. Calabrese antipasto, nice bread spread. Perfect, and I do mean PERFECTLY, cooked steak, chicken, and sausages. Their pizza is simple but lovely balanced between crisp and chewy. Not too thick, not too thin. Arancini were great. I highly recommend them for your next family event, or just a quiet night out for the family! Thank you to all the staff and the chef for making our family event a success, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!“

The gentleman serving us brought out water and bread really quickly, was incredibly kind and patient with our questions about the menu. Glad we asked what he recommended, because everything was so amazing!!

The seafood was fresh and tasty, all the pasta was really good, and strangely the potatoes were a highlight because they were so soft yet SO crispy. Highly recommend any dish that comes with the potatoes haha“

“Been eating at Cali's since I was a kid downtown at the original location.

I always anticipate a decline in the quality, but they have managed to keep the same experience for as long as I could remember.

It's a tad on the expensive side, but in all honesty, I never leave unsatisfied. I'll go for the veal, at least a few times every month.

No matter how many other places I try a veal, they never really match up how Cali's makes it.

We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. The upstairs floor was all ours for 26 guests.

“I recently visited Pizza Pizza and was really impressed. The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh, and the cheese was just the right amount – not too heavy, not too light. I tried their classic pepperoni and also the creamy garlic dip, and both were spot on.

The staff was friendly and quick with service, even though it was busy. What I liked most is they offer good deals, so it’s easy on the budget too. Definitely a solid choice for a quick bite or a weekend treat. Will be ordering again soon!“

“The most succulent chicken breasts I’ve ever had in my life. We had calamari which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Pizzas had very nice sauce and the mozzarella was one of the best qualities I’ve experienced. Service was great and the ambience was very warm and pleasant. Will recommend“

“We were very impressed with Boccaccio Ristorante! We went today for the Summerlicious lunch. The restaurant is very elegant and quiet. Our server (David) was absolutely wonderful. He was so pleasant and helpful. The delicious bread with a homemade extra-virgin olive oil was a nice touch and we had as starters the tuna salad with olives and assorted lettuces with a lemon vinaigrette and a yummy potato dish, our main course consisted of the linguine with the pesto and gnocchi with ricotta cheese, and mozzarella. Our desserts were also amazing. We enjoyed the lemon cake which was so fresh and the outstanding tiramisu. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and our server, David made it extra special! “Was there for a Sunday brunch with friends. Food is awesome and coffee is good. The workers were very nice but I felt that they were short staffed because it took very long for them to greet us and bring us water. It was over 10min before a waitress was able to take our order. The food was also slow to show up and they may have missed a couple things from the order as it didnt come out until we asked for it after waiting a while. Everybody seemed swamped and perhaps there needs to be a designated server among them.

Now also a good selection of dairy free options. Bring cheques or cash as no debit or credit options. The owner and staff are lovely.
