“We had a family event last night at their restaurant. I can't stress how great the value is here, and the food quality was top shelf. I have eaten food cooked by some of the best chefs in the world and this was every bit as good. the staff were attentive but not at all intrusive. very accommodating for our large group of 15 people. Their shrimp and calamari platter was cooked perfectly, not at all rubbery, with a divine sauce to dip. Pasta nicely al denté. Calabrese antipasto, nice bread spread. Perfect, and I do mean PERFECTLY, cooked steak, chicken, and sausages. Their pizza is simple but lovely balanced between crisp and chewy. Not too thick, not too thin. Arancini were great. I highly recommend them for your next family event, or just a quiet night out for the family! Thank you to all the staff and the chef for making our family event a success, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!“

We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. We were served our drinks and appetizers within 1/2 hour but our main course came about an hour after but it was worth the wait. We will definitely return🍾🎉“

We ordered 2 pizzas: Korean chicken and hot honey Pepperoni. To drink, pinot grigio and a beer. The pizzas were unexpectedly delicious. And I say unexpected because of the description of the ingredients. Had never had corn on a pizza and enjoyed it tremendously!

“A really gorgeous Italian restaurant with great pasta selection and super friendly service!

The gentleman serving us brought out water and bread really quickly, was incredibly kind and patient with our questions about the menu. Glad we asked what he recommended, because everything was so amazing!!

The seafood was fresh and tasty, all the pasta was really good, and strangely the potatoes were a highlight because they were so soft yet SO crispy. Highly recommend any dish that comes with the potatoes haha“

“Been eating at Cali's since I was a kid downtown at the original location.

I always anticipate a decline in the quality, but they have managed to keep the same experience for as long as I could remember.

It's a tad on the expensive side, but in all honesty, I never leave unsatisfied. I'll go for the veal, at least a few times every month.

No matter how many other places I try a veal, they never really match up how Cali's makes it.

“Went in for a last minute dinner and had the chefs special. We usually stick to the mains on the menu but decided to give it a try and boy did it not disappoint. I had the braised beef stuffed ravioli and it was the most delicious pasta meal I've ever had. My husband had the squid ink seafood past as it too was outstanding. Kudos to the chefs. “We were very impressed with Boccaccio Ristorante! We went today for the Summerlicious lunch. The restaurant is very elegant and quiet. Our server (David) was absolutely wonderful. He was so pleasant and helpful. The delicious bread with a homemade extra-virgin olive oil was a nice touch and we had as starters the tuna salad with olives and assorted lettuces with a lemon vinaigrette and a yummy potato dish, our main course consisted of the linguine with the pesto and gnocchi with ricotta cheese, and mozzarella. Our desserts were also amazing. We enjoyed the lemon cake which was so fresh and the outstanding tiramisu. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and our server, David made it extra special! It was nice to enjoy their reasonably priced lunch menu, we enjoyed the Sicilian (one with turkey and no eggplant) and the Turkey with provolone and jelly. My daughter ordered bow tie pesto pasta di burrata - out of this world fresh and delish! We ordered bruschetta and heated olives/crostini and the maple pecan salad, the dressing was a bit on the sweet side if you don't mind, we found it scrumptious. Desserts were great, cannoli with pistachio filling, chocolate eclair (we think coffee would be better), tiramisu was ok, and best of all of them however was the nutella filled croissant with fresh strawberries, heaven! Happy to go again, and again, and again :-)“

Now also a good selection of dairy free options. Bring cheques or cash as no debit or credit options. The owner and staff are lovely.
