“Beautiful cozy cafe. The pastries were unique and delicious, highlights were the almond croissant with delicious filling as well as the toffee scone. The drinks were alright and the atmosphere was lovely. One distinct feature of this cafe was their comfortable sofa chairs and lighting. Overall, great cafe!“

“I’ve had my eyes on this place for a while now, but never had the chance to try their delicious desserts. They specialize in original soufflé cheesecake and basque burnt top cheesecake. They have recently partnered up with Balzac’s Coffee and offer their coffees.

They have cute and small cafe with a few chairs available inside and 2 tables outside. We ordered “Matcha Cloud Tiramisu”in a cup. It was soft and fluffy. Not too sweet which was great.“

I stumbled across this place because I accidentally made the wrong turn into the neighbourhood and ended up coming for a visit with my brother. We really enjoyed the food and my ice cream with espresso and pistachio topping. Will be coming back again!“

“This place offers great specialty coffee. The mocha was really good, but my cappuccino was scorching hot, so I couldn't really enjoy it. I ended up drinking most of the mocha. The cookie I had was really good, and the savory Danish was alright. The staff was friendly, the vibes were chill, and the place was clean. All in all, we had a great experience. It's a great spot to hang out.

Parking: There are free street parking spaces in the area, but it may be difficult to find one during peak hours. Paid street parking is also available.

“Visited the Oakville location today and tried their mango green tea (with no tapioca) and the 1L poke poke cup.

The sweetness was just right and not super sweet like most other places.

I went with the recommended 25% sugar for the mango green tea and the poke poke cup has no additional added sugar (sweetness just from the fruit and juice).

The barista hand made all the drinks and mashed up all the fruit for the poke cup. Everything is truly made with care here. ❤️

One thing about the poke poke cup is there seems to be many seeds (from the passion fruit, orange and maybe lime) would be nice to have a variant that’s without seeds.

Also their display screen showcasing all the drinks the rotation is kinda fast. So I took a picture of each screen for your (and my) convenience. 😅

I want to try some of their other stuff the next time - like their grape drinks and also their Mr. Sun mango. ❤️“

“What a great find! I was in Oakville for a physio appointment on June 10th, and I searched Coffee Shops on my GPS. The usual suspects (Tim's, Starbucks, etc) showed up on the list but so did Carvalho Coffee Roasters. As I love to check out new coffee beans I headed over to see them, and it was worth the trip!

I believe I met the owner, but whomever he was was incredibly nice and friendly. I told him how I found him and said I was looking for a coffee. He said he couldn't sell a cup at this time but offered me a free Americano, the Peaberry Espresso blend, and it was delicious.

I picked up a bag of the same beans to take home with me. I made my first one this morning with an Aeropress and it was outstanding.

Definitely a must stop! I love supporting shops like this!“

“I was there to study initially, it would be quite noisy compared to cafés without noise cancelling headphones. But that's expected.I ordered a grapfruit green tea with agar bubble 30% sugar and no ice. The taste was excellent, there were a slice of real grapfruit in it and 30% sugar was just fine for me.“

“Had a chance to grab a smoothie for me and my wife as our kids were doing a swimming class. Super friendly staff, with lots of options for smoothies (including milk alterations), coffee and snacks (love popcorn) with very reasonable prices.

Quick and fast service with great quality food and would highly recommend trying them out (takeout is easy). It also makes for a great and healthy power lunch.

“For context, I come here pretty much every day with no issue, but I was heading into work and had a bit of a hic up in my order. The Barista who took my order was new and haden't told me they were out of the tea I had ordered. But let me know they were brewing a new batch. I was waiting for 45 minutes before I had to leave without my drink.

I am usually happy to wait, but I had other things to do that day.

Fast forward to the day after. I walk in and Tony, the Barista I usually interact with when I walk into this starbucks, greets me and the very first thing out of his mouth is an apology for the day before. I hadent interacted with him the previous day, and yet he still made It his priority to make it up to me. He took my order, upsized my drink and made it on the house.

I would whole heartedly recommend this starbucks, they really do care about their customers, they often have people in training, but everyone has to start somewhere and if you have a little bit of patience they will make sure you leave happy.

“Location at Cornwall accidentally made my drink incorrectly and I didn’t notice until I was all the way at Dundas. Stopped in quickly to this location in Longos due to the other Dundas location being temporarily closed. Luis was very welcoming and understanding and took the time to explain that any location would be happy to help. They remade my drink with no questions asked and a kind smile. Thank you!
