“Great sushi and lots of options to choose from in both lunch and dinner menus. Clean environment, washrooms well maintained, and staff are kind and welcoming. The quality of sushi and appetizers are great however some items can be heavily breaded.“

“We came here on a weekday at lunchtime, but ordered Dinner Menu sinceI’m a sashimi-lover. Dinner menu is $34.99 during the week and $36.99 Friday-Sunday. The staff were friendly and the service was quite fast.
You’ll be provided with pencil and paper as many rounds as you want, but make sure you don’t have leftovers as you’ll get charged.
We ordered Shrimp Tempura, Seaweed Salad, Beef Teriyaki, Salmon Teriyaki, Enoki Mushroom Beef Roll, Salmon Sashimi, White Tuna Sashimi, Red Dynamite Roll, Fire Kamakachi Roll, Dragon Roll and Red Dragon Roll. Everything was fresh and tasty.
There’s limited free parking at the back of the restaurant.“

“Delightful meal (^O<) 5 stars 🌟 will visit again, even without injury LOL 🤣
SERVICE, PRICING, OPTIONS:
The cashier enthusiastically introduced me to their menu options, including sushi ($9-12) rolls ($14~) poke bowls ($16-19) and combination ($22) so I asked for unagi (BBQ eel) (^O<). The 8” square bowl has fresh crunchy beans, romaine lettuce, purple cabbage, avocado, carrot shreds and cucumbers, covered with fish slices filled to the brim. The bowl comes with a package of crunchy bits to sprinkle on. Spicy mayo or sriracha sauce cost $0.75, and miso soup (in a coffee cup for convenience) is about $2. They prepared the poke bowl in a few minutes. Other rolls and sushi are made and on display throughout the day.
SEATING / COMFORT:
There're 4 tables for 2, and a bar counter with about 4 stools. The seating area is open to both Starbucks and U-Naru customers. The bar counter wall has 2 sockets that work if you need charging your devices.“

“JO SHISHI TO GO is truly a hidden gem in Oakville. It’s a small, cozy spot that feels like a family-run business, and you can immediately sense the passion behind their food. They roll your sushi fresh right in front of you, and the quality is outstanding, easily some of the best sushi I’ve ever had in the area. Every piece is fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor.
If you’re looking for authentic, top-quality sushi without the fuss of a big chain restaurant, this is the place to go. Friendly service, unbeatable freshness, and great value. Highly recommend JO SHISHI TO GO to any sushi lover!
Its a takeout place only although they have 1 small table where u can sit.“

“Perhaps one of Oakville’s best kept secrets for affordable, quality sushi. Dine-in, take-out, and delivery options are all available. The decorum simple and cozy; the atmosphere is quiet with soft music playing in the background. Great for a romantic dinner during which you can actually hear each other talk. Staff is beyond friendly and very helpful. The party trays are reasonably priced and take out orders are usually ready in 15 minutes. Portions are generous, so you can’t go wrong with their monthly specials. An even more affordable lunch menu is available.“

“This place is definitely a hidden gem and underrated. I've been going here since I was in highschool and love going here with my friends and family. The food is very delicious and not greasy or oily feeling the mouth. Service are a bit on the shy side but they are very friendly.
If you want a quiet and chill atmosphere that feels local and comfortable, this is the perfect sushi place for you to just relax. The all you can eat pricing is great compared to other places and they have sashimi during the lunch all you can eat. So worth it!!!“
“Whenever we’re at Oakville Place, my daughter loves stopping by Mac’s Sushi. It’s a small kiosk, but they serve good, fresh sushi, and Noah is always welcoming! It’s not fancy, but if you’re at the mall and craving sushi, it does the job. They deserve the recognition
Great service and a solid choice for a quick bite!“
