A chip shack that sits in a parking lot at the side of the busy Orleans road (St. Joseph's Blvd.) Limited menu, reasonable prices, tasty, reliable / consistent fast food - done right. Cash only / Closed on Tuesdays. Get there before 8:30 PM. My accomplice really enjoys their poutines and onion rings. Me? It's the naked fries. I always ask for them extra crispy and then dip them in their vegetarian gravy - as I scarf them back (one by one).”

I have had chicken roti, goat and j*** chicken with sides rice and peas, plantain and veg. A blessing to taste these hardworking and honest folks’ food. Don’t rush- this is not fast food.”

“Hosted my baby shower here and it was a real hit. Everyone was super impressed with the aesthetic and vibe of the venue. The owner was super accommodating, we were able to bring in our own food and decorate. We did purchase our drinks from the bar and ordered pizzas from the menu but it was nice being able to bring in other snacks and finger foods as well. The staff were all super friendly and professional and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for hosting parties.”

“Had supper here tonight. It’s been some months since we ate at Shoeless Joes. It was well worth dropping in again. Their Nashville chicken sandwich is new to the menu and absolutely great. “We just got home from dinner at this location. Got there around 6:15 pm. There were a couple families ahead of us waiting to be greeted and seated. We were attended to and seated within 5 or so minutes. I hadn't been to any Lone Star for over 5 years and I decided that I'd celebrate my birthday with steak fajitas. We were served by Twilight, a very nice and friendly young lady who was attentive but not overbearing. Complimentary chips and salsa started off the evening with a couple of soft drinks.

We had an appetizer of fried mozzarella with three sauces on the side; Nashville, Buffalo and Ranch. Glad we got the sauces on the side. Buffalo was a bit spicy. The Boss said the Ranch was good. Nashville was quite a spicy surprise, spicier than I thought it would be. It left me with a runny nose and a real after kick.

Dinner consisted of the beef and chicken fajita combo. The fresh flour tortillas were fantastic being warm and soft. We were each given an individual small amount of pico, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. Seasoned rice was also provided. The meat, peppers and onions were nicely cooked and quite hot when delivered to the table.

I built my first fajita and took a bite. Although everything was hot, nice and fresh, I was slightly underwhelmed. Portion sizes were much smaller than I remember. The steak was quite moist and properly cooked but the meat, onions and peppers were somewhat bland and the rice was less than stellar. The chicken was okay and a bit dry. I guess we've kind of spoiled ourselves with the fajitas we make ourselves at home. Having said all this, we ate almost everything. It was tasty but just not what I remembered from all those years ago. I can't comment on dessert or alcoholic drinks as we didn't partake.

The bill was about $120, including gratuity. In my opinion, the meal was overpriced. I know the price of food and labour has increased but I'm not really sure about value for money spent for our visit. As I stated earlier, I can't complain, in any way, about the service from Twilight and the rest of the staff or the cleanliness of the restaurant. We ate in the dining room as it was too warm and humid (for us) to eat outside.

Although I rated the food with three stars, three and a half stars would be my preferred rating.

Did I enjoy my birthday dinner? Yes I did but I'm on the fence on deciding if I'll return any time soon.”

“Meetings BBQ is being served here and hands down best BBQ in Ottawa. Fall of the bone ribs, brisket is savory and the sauces that are paid with it are great. The side options are wonderful, it's refreshing to hear a place that does not do fries as a side. The coleslaw was nice the cornbread is so tasty and the tater tots are very totty.
Will be back and reccommned for you to try.”

“Update: Great service and tea. It’s probably the best bubble tea franchise in Ottawa. I did had the one bad experience (see previous review) but the rest outweigh the one.

Previous Review: I asked for minimal ice and she took it as put more water. When I went back to ask why it tasted like water she admitted that she added more water to counteract the less ice. The more logical way to make the drink would be to add more base. When she made it the second time she added more ice ?. This place is usually really good but this experience ruined it.”

This is the best location, I did attempt to go to a store closer to where I live but the service and food was garbage . THIS is the BEST pizza pizza location. I hadn’t ordered in months and was really looking forward to the buffalo chicken strips and they gave me regular chicken strips. We ordered a bottled iced tea and got a can instead. “Ordered the tandoori pizza and medium wings from Pizza Junction. Delivery was prompt. The presentation of the pizza after opening the box was fantastic. - beautifully topped/decorated, well cut, piping hot and tasty beyond words (hands down the best tandoori pizza I’ve tasted in Ottawa (in my mind, beating out two other well-known competitors) - the last time I tasted a tandoori pizza this good was during my time in California).

The hot wings were also very delicious. I mean finger licking good! They were plump, meaty and juicy with a generous lathered coating of wings sauce. We couldn’t stop licking our fingers and eating them. This is how hot wings should be prepared!

Larger delivery chains like Dominos, Pizza Pizza, etc., should take a page from Pizza Junctions’s book on delivering the same taste and value for their hot wings.
Stop cutting corners, charging an arm and a leg and giving your customers itty-bitty partially dried hot wings!

“The absolute BEST gluten free bakery I have ever been to, with the kindest owners! I ordered an angel food cake with strawberries on it, and 6 donuts, for my birthday. The cake and donuts tasted like heaven! My youngest child had a donut and said "These donuts were blessed by God!" I could not agree more! I've never tasted such delicious donuts! The cake was absolutely beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked! I've been on a strict diet for the past few months and have so been looking forward to indulging on my birthday! “This location is located inside of Place D’Orleans Mall and it’s always delicious! I usually sit in the food court but this time I did delivery and no complaints! I did a regular hot dog which is big and juicy and I added all my condiments but I did request onions so good! Their poutine comes with fresh cut fries and I did the VEGGIE POUTINE with sour cream, cheese sauce, green onions and tomatoes! Any poutine you choose will be 10/10!”

“The sushi i had was great, but unfortunately that's all I could have they don't have any gluten free dishes or ones that are prepared without sauce with gluten. They did have some gluten free soy sauce for me to dip my sushi in.
Others in my party had many different dishes and loved them all.

I tried mango diamond slush today, the house special drink, made of real mango, it's gonna be my new favorite. Prices are reasonable and affordable”
