“Pontypool is so spoiled to have this store/restaurant tucked away at the corners. Maybe the best hidden gem in the Kawarthas.

I have given this place a decade long trial run and it is deceptively good, both the subs from the convenience store and the Chinese food. The assorted sub has that slab of white cheese that is just perfect on a sub *chefs kiss*.

When I was working nearby we got Royal Garden at least once a week. Egg roll game is silly and the lo mein is a spiritual experience.

I don't stop in here enough and my life is poorer for it.

The aesthetics of the place need some fresh paint but they got everything for your house, a sub for your soul and Chinese food so good I just straight up refuse to eat it anywhere else.“

“Honestly it's really good. I got the General Tso's chicken, does Sesame chicken, and the noodles. In total it was like 15 bucks but they packed the box to the brim. The food was really good and the people at the front were really nice. Honestly it's probably one of the best Chinese places in my area.“
