“We experienced a fabulous luncheon buffet at the Oshawa Mandarin restaurant today. The food was well prepared, displayed and very delicious. LOTS of variety! From the moment we arrived and until we left the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our server Cynthia was great. We were quite impressed that manager Isabel spoke with us twice. All-in-all a perfect experience.“

“Placed a lunch order. Took several minutes for someone to answer the phone. It was New Years Eve afternoon, so to be expected. Then we got put on hold for several minutes while we heard someone yelling. Finally placed the order and someone drove me to pick the order. Got there and a young lady at the counter was having a conversation with another customer. After a few minutes when they started talking about if the young lady was going to be working tonight by herself I interrupted and asked for the order. At this point The young lady hadn't even acknowledged me. The young lady gave a quick look and then started talking to the other customer again. I raised my voice and someone from the back came out. She looked but didn't find it. My driver came in to find out what was taking so long. Finally the young lady asked me again when it was ordered. I told her and she looked at the table beside her where it was sitting ALONE. The food as usual was good but cold. It actually took longer the get the cooked order once I was in the restersaunt than it took to get there. Considering no customers were being served the whole time I was there I found the service totally ridiculous. The kitchen area very busy with many people. The food was produced fast and tasty but the experience and being ignored left a bad taste in my mouth. When I entered an older lady was yelling towards the young lady before going back into the kitchen. I think I may know why! This is not the usual service we get at the Hong Kong House.“
