“The café has a wonderful location with great potential — it’s cozy and easy to find. However, there’s almost no food, desserts, or sandwiches available, which is probably why there aren’t many customers. With the right menu and concept, this place could easily become popular. I would love the opportunity to help develop it and work as a supervisor to bring new life and energy to this café so people can truly fall in love with it.“

“Cozy cafe with lots of options for coffee lovers! There is more seating at the back of the cafe that can’t be seen from the store front that offers desk working space and outlets. They had a projector set up during our visit with a winter lodge setting projected that made the space so cozy! Please note that they do have a 1 hr seating limit which is more than enough time to enjoy the space and ambience of the cafe :)“

“Definitely my favourite coffee roaster. I drink my coffee black and Social coffee beans have the exact flavours that I love. My favourites are the light roasted Ethiopian varieties but lately I have also really enjoyed the espresso roasts from Costa Rica and Papua New Guinea. I highly recommend their coffee.“

“Went to Gate Cafe to get some work done and was pleased to find plenty of seating with nearby outlets. While I was there, I had to try their Brisket Poutine, which was $20.

The poutine is definitely big enough to share, making it a great value. The brisket was tender and flavourful. What really stands out is how generous they are with the gravy and sauce—it's incredibly rich and savoury. My one piece of advice is to not mix everything all at once. The sauces are so abundant that it can quickly make the fries soggy, so it's best to enjoy it in smaller, well-portioned bites.

Overall, the poutine was a fantastic treat. Paired with the fast and friendly staff, my experience at Gate Cafe was a productive and delicious one.“

“This is one of my top cafes in the GTA. I would like to gate keep it if I could but the place deserves the recognition. Beautiful nooks to read and catch up with friends. The place has character, with a it’s exposed brick and tons of books to choose from. I like to come here to do some light work. Amazing ambiance. Only downside is that during the winter it can get a bit cold.“

“Absolutely delicious sweet and savory treats. I have so many food allergies but I can safely eat the food from this bakery. i appreciate the plant based options too. I love the oat fudge bars, vanilla cakes/cupcakes, chocolate cakes/cupcakes, custom cakes, both types of quiche, the scones, brownies, spiced chocolate bar, lattes, drip coffee, cookies...geeze I guess I go there a lot. I haven't even tried everything in the bakery yet. It is a wonderful for breakfast, midday treat and dessert after dinner. I stock up on Sunday to have enough to last me until Thursday morning when the bakery reopens for the week. I am having a very hard time sticking to just one item a day. It is great for school lunch treats because it is a nut free bakery. This is important for school staff and students.“

“This was my first time ordering from BB Café at Richmond Hill on UberEats, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I had been searching all over the app late night but every place kept cancelling my order and I was honestly about to give up until I scrolled one last time to satisfy my late night dessert craving, and BB Café accepted my order right before closing!!

The desserts arrived fresh, beautifully packaged, and absolutely delicious. And found their BOGO deal on my favourite Swiss roll felt like an unexpected little gift at the end of a long day. For a first-time order, it truly felt like a warm, thoughtful surprise.

When I visit Starbucks at loblaw location, (May 2/ Thurs 14:45)
the barista lady was super nice and supported me to get the coupon done through the app.
Moreover, she reminded me that Starbucks is going to discontinued for Lactose Free milk option next week.
If I didn’t get any notice from her, I won’t know through the app/ any Starbucks news.
I am very thanksful of her help, and appreciated that she keeps her energy in her work as positive customer service.

“I recently visited Gong Cha in Richmond Hill and had a great experience! I ordered the Pearl Milk Tea, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly balanced sweetness and the pearls were nice and chewy. Special shoutout to Mahla for providing excellent service! She was friendly, efficient, and made my visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a tasty bubble tea!“

“All the reviews are right!!! Finally tried their egg tart fresh of the oven and it was as good as I can remember the one I had to one up for in HK. Sorry I was to full to try anything else yet by it got these other ones based on recommendation of the the lady in the barley and a patron :D

“I went in with my friends to get a sandwich for lunch and I got the Philly cheese steak sandwich. The food tasted really nice and it was very filling. The service was not terrible and the price was reasonable. My favourite part for sure was the atmosphere. It was nice, relaxing, and it gave off a chill coffee place kind of vibe. The music also added to this feeling. I would 100% come here again.“

“The Ruelo mousse cake is very good. Texture is perfect and flavour combination is pleasant. We sprinkled some gold dust on top to make it more interesting. We did not dine in, but the store looks pretty cute and we wouldn’t mind stopping by for coffee and dessert next time. Looking forward to getting more birthday cakes from this shop.“

“This is my favourite Starbucks located at the lobby of Sheraton hotel. Armchairs are very comfortable and the atmosphere is very cosy and good. It is nice to meet friends and spend an afternoon there. The staff in this Starbucks are nice and friendly. The drink and food are the same standards as other Starbucks stores.“

“This Tim Hortons is still my go to my ever since high school for a quick ice cap and egg & cheese belt. The ice cap always hits different on given day lol. Breakfast sandwiches are always fresh, and the staff is always super friendly 10/10⭐️“

“I rarely write reviews but today I decided to treat myself and get a drink and my barista (I think her name was Shyla) was so sweet. She right away greeted me with a smile and took my order, she let me know that any customizations I was to have would cost extra (other baristas don’t usually tell me). On top of that, she made sure to scan my points which many forget to do. She was so sweet and her vibe was so welcoming and caring. She got my drink to me very quickly and even handed me a straw. The customer service skills are perfect. The place was also very clean and thorough, lots of space and got through everybody’s orders quickly. Will be returning!“
