“We recently enjoyed a family breakfast at Ramona's Kitchen, located inside Hillcrest Mall. The entrance to the restaurant is accessible from within the mall. The space is quite small, with only two rows of tables, which likely explains the 20–25 minute wait for a table.

The interior is tastefully designed, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were courteous and hardworking throughout our visit. Our server, Alexia, was especially attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The food arrived promptly and was very flavourful. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Ramona’s Kitchen for your next breakfast, lunch, or brunch outing with family or friends.“

“I recently tried Bibimbap and it was a really enjoyable dish. The mix of fresh vegetables, rice, and savory sauce created a great balance of flavors and textures. I especially liked how each ingredient had its own taste, but everything came together perfectly when mixed.

The portion was satisfying without being too heavy, and the spicy sauce added a nice kick without overpowering the dish. Overall, it felt healthy, flavorful, and fun to eat.

“Update: We recently came back to try their Silver Wagyu menu and really enjoyed it. The marbling on the meats were great and the flavour really came through when we put them on the grill. Loved the Australia M9 toro beef, U.S. Gold Grade brisket short rib, and the fresh seasonal scallops they just added to the menu. Shout out to Steven who was really attentive all night!

We got their AYCE Black menu and all the meats were well-seasoned, tender and delicious. Our favourites are the miso beef, garlic beef brisket, prime kalbi and pork toro. They also had a new summer menu - the beer-battered cod was SO good. Staff were friendly and very attentive. No wait on a Monday night, restaurant was about 80% full!“

“I found the place to be very chilly...as in you definitely need a sweater. Went there for roughly 7:30 - 8 pm on a Wednesday. I was surprised that the first thing we were told is that they are out of rice and vermicelli. The only thing we could choose from was appetizers and soups. Other than that the food was good, portions were a good size. I did appreciate that the broth was not overly salty which allowed me to add as I needed and other sauces were not overwhelmed. Seats comfortably held our party so there was plenty of room to eat and for the meals ordered.“

“There are at least 5 sushi restaurants within 5 minutes drive for this area. First time try Kitano, there are many takeaway customers more than dine in at Sunday night. The restaurants is clean and seat comfortable. Sushi are fresh and the Udon noodles are tasty. The pork katsu are crispy. We will try their takeaway again for gathering.“

The prices here are definitely on the higher end but honestly, the quality of the sushi, sashimi and even the miso soup made it feel all worth it! Everything tasted clean, fresh and truly made with intention. They even surprised us with matcha ice cream at the end of our lunch, which was so sweet and thoughtful. It was a slow Friday afternoon and it turned out to be genuinely an amazing experience. I left so happy, full and wanting to come back to support them again! Service is great, as well as the ambiance. We were given a separate room that four to six people fits.

“The Big Trio is my go-to place for wonton noodle twice a week. Their beef tripe is also very tasty and tender. However the combinarion of wonton and tripe is the best. Add a bit of chilli oil...oh my.... my stomach thanks me for it. I think i am addicted to it. ;)“

The toppings shouldn’t be overloaded because they change the taste of the burger. Never take your burger home or order it online if you want to enjoy it fresh!“

“Such an amazing experience! Food was amazing and awesome portions. 100% recommend the teas. We got mango milk tea and Thai milk tea and they were phenomenal!! I could come here just to have tea. Service was great, and ambiance was perfect. One of the few restaurants now a day that actually care about their interior and making a special experience for every guest. Highly recommend! For reference, we had chicken pineapple fried rice, garlic beef, sweet and sour chicken and friend banana & mango ice cream desert.“

“I rate this 4.5 stars out of 5. The food was on point and the serving size were sufficient. The bento boxes came with the main item, glass noodles, sweet potatoes and roll. We miss the side salad that they used to provide.

We ordered the bento boxes of chicken teriyaki box, roll box, tempura box and salmon box. All were flavorful and definitely enough for a person.

The service was good and the servers were always nice to us. The interior design was nice but there are already a good number of new restaurants which have fresh modern design atmosphere. They should consider updating their interior.

Overall, the food was excellent, service was great and atmosphere was good. Since we always come back to this restaurant, we will definitely be back.“
