“Had breakfast with a friend here. Food was ok, nothing special, smallish portions. Tables are ridiculously small and crowded with napkin holders and a condiment tray. Service was friendly but not intrusive. If you choose to eat at mall restaurant this is kinda what you get. An ok experience but I won't be returning.“

“The sushi here is incredibly fresh and easily the best I have had in the area so far! It is genuinely on par with many of the sushi restaurants I have tried in Japan which really surprised me. The atmosphere is great, the vibe is just right, and the staff are very kind and attentive. I ordered the Sapporo Boat with my family and was honestly blown away by how good everything was, there wasn’t a single item I wouldn’t order again! Even the sushi rice stood out as being above average really bringing everything together. I highly highly recommend this any sushi lovers in the area!!“

The prices here are definitely on the higher end but honestly, the quality of the sushi, sashimi and even the miso soup made it feel all worth it! Everything tasted clean, fresh and truly made with intention. They even surprised us with matcha ice cream at the end of our lunch, which was so sweet and thoughtful. It was a slow Friday afternoon and it turned out to be genuinely an amazing experience. I left so happy, full and wanting to come back to support them again! “The Big Trio is my go-to place for wonton noodle twice a week. Their beef tripe is also very tasty and tender. However the combinarion of wonton and tripe is the best. Add a bit of chilli oil...oh my.... my stomach thanks me for it. I think i am addicted to it. ;)“

“Excellent spot if you are NOT hungry yet and happen to be craving any combination of fries, poutine, or shawarma, especially for Halal meat.

They have really solid daily $10 specials (Sunday is Jerk Chicken Poutine) for a LARGE.

We were there around 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon, and there was only one person waiting ahead of us in line. This is a great time to come because by 3:15, there were at least 7 or 8 people! Some had made orders in advance over the phone (or online via Uber Eats), so I'm not sure what their influx truly was - but I will say that their estimated time for us of 25 minutes was far off the mark. We waited just a hair over 36 minutes.

Based on the comments made by other patrons (at the restaurant that day, but also through reviews), this timing issue seems common. Therefore, I do not recommend coming hungry.

Once you get the food though, it's a fairly respectable portion. We got 2 Jerk Chicken Poutines, a Gorillas Fries, and regular Poutine (all size large), and split between four adults, it was decently filling.

We're not usually fries eaters this so take this with a grain of salt (haha), but we found the meal definitely to be on the saltier end. The jerk chicken has a bit of spice but not a ton, and the meat on the gorilla fries felt similar to burger meat. (Burger meat with cheese and sauce is basically stereotypical comfort food). The regular price feels a bit steep but if your preferred meal of choice happens to be the daily special, it's hard to go wrong for $10.

All in all, it's probably a true 3, but because of their daily specials, I can make the case that on particular days, it's actually a 4 (since those are evergreen daily specials from what I understand). But hey, we're rounding up to support local businesses, so let's call it a 5, okay? Just don't come hungry!

“The Korean BBQ at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! If you love grilled meat, you should definitely give it a try! The restaurant has many branches, and you can get free refills of the steamed egg, corn, and side dishes in the small bowls (as long as the barbecue you ordered is still being served). The food tastes incredible, and the service is great too—though the tip is a bit on the high side, haha. It would be even better if the prices were a little more wallet-friendly!“

“I used to think fish and chips were defined by the greasiness on my tongue and the inedibility of their chips. I’ve tried the dish on many occasions, but never found one that tasted just right. I think this place comes close to very very good. It doesn’t have the greasy feel that plagued so many of my previous consumptions, the batter isn’t too thick nor too thin, and most of all, I genuinely wanted to eat the chips. “I'm so glad we have Thai Basil in the neighbourhood. The food is always consistent and full of flavour. I'm obsessed with their Green Curry/Pad See Ewi it’s perfectly creamy and has just the right amount of spice ask for their chilli flakes if you want extra heat. The staff is always welcoming and the service is quick, whether I'm dining in or getting takeout. If you haven't tried their Thai Iced Tea/Mango Sticky Rice, you're missing out Highly recommend.“

“I heard about this restaurant from reviews. I wanted to try their food. Unfortunately, their customer service is very slow. Ordering ahead of time stil not helpful for speedy pickup. Another customer told me ordered 35 minutes ago and still he was waiting.
Restaurant is clean, washroom was good too. The person taking orders at cash and waitress the same person and she was running around and made her to forget as well (she was nice and pleasant).“

“Overall, my experience was just okay.
The environment was pleasant and clean, and the general flavor of the dishes was acceptable. No major complaints on the ambiance or basic taste.
However, the main issue was the freshness of the food. The meat did not seem as fresh as I would have liked, and some of the cold dishes also tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. This significantly detracted from the meal's quality.
If the kitchen can address the freshness of their ingredients, particularly the meat and cold appetizers, this restaurant would definitely earn a higher rating.

“Knowing this Korea restaurant more than 10 years.We know it run my family business. In this few year, they change their menu and become more busy now.We order a B1 combo , all the dish are huge and we cannot eat them all .The side dish are very good, I love their kimchi and sweet potatoes. After finish my lunch at 1:30 pm. I see a line up outside the restaurant. Please come early for the delicious food.one star deduct forvthe service is not enough waitress to serve, I see all the waitress are busy and nobody can help for refill the tea.“

Regular orders include shredded pork with coriander and chili (732, get with a hot bowl of rice!) and onion pancake roll w sliced beef (120, gives Peking duck vibes). Go-to dumplings is classic pork & chive for me.
