“Lovely family bakery with personality. This modern bakery sells a variety of baked goods and constantly updates their menu with seasonal items. Call ahead if you're really looking for one specific thing but we are usually satisfied with whatever they have to offer.

Items we often find in-store include focaccia bread, sub sandwiches (variety of meat and cheese), sausage rolls, hotdog bacon bun, apple or raspberry pie, pizza pockets, cookies cookies cookies, banana bread, cinnamon rolls, crusty bread, brownies, chocolate tart, etc. They are creative, delicious and sometimes with an Italian or Asian twist. All developed and created by the wife owner.

Drink offerings are are hit too. I love their hochija and matcha (they use ceremonial grade). And the husband owner of the cafe has a knowledgeable background in espressos.

Atmosphere is casual fun, they have many many baking and cooking books to look at and purchase for $5. They also sell imported fancy olive oil, pasta sauce, and some easy gift ideas etc.

We were over at Granville Island when we were suggested to make the trip to Lemonade Gluten-Free Bakery. We decided to take the walk, and it was so well worth it! “We ordered our wedding cake with Fortuna and were extremely pleased with the outcome. Working with Luisa was easy and she made sure to help us stay within our budget. The cake tasting was super helpful as well to figure out the flavour and icing we wanted. Also they were super generous in adding flowers to the cake that matched my wedding flowers. Luisa also personally delivered the cake for a small price all the way to Pitt Meadows so that she could make sure it arrived safely. The guests loved the cake as well! “The bakery has been around since my adolescence, probably longer. One of my favourite stops when in the hood 💙 Still cash only, but so worth it. I was finally able to bring my children; I knew that once they set foot in the bakery, the fragrant scent of baked goods, they would enjoy it as much as I did. They sure did, they tried the donuts and cookies. One can never go wrong with their coconut cream buns or pineapple buns. I also like to grab a bag of cinnamon rolls or raisin butter tarts for the fam.“
