“Fish lovers will love this restaurant as you can find many different styles of fish dishes there, such as spicy, stir fried, hot pot...etc. If you don't eat fish, they also offer beef/pork/noodles and rice I'm their menu. We ordered the lotus slice as the appetizer, it's surprisingly good, tiny bit of spicy and sour taste, very refreshing.“

Place was clean, staff plentiful and food good.

As other reviews state, portions are a bit smaller than usual, but so is the price. $17 for fish & chips is great!

Menu is simple. Not at all overwhelming.

“A serviceable fish and chips place. It's small but you can usually find a table . It's not fancy but the fish and chips are very good . Also the prices are very good . I would definitely buy from here again . I would try to eat in so I can enjoy the hot fish and chips crispy as take out can get a bit soggy.“

“One of the best fish & chips I’ve ever had.
Crust is just thick enough and the right amount of crisp without too much oil.
If I had to pick out one thing, it would be the mess on the table when we sat down although I would gladly overlook this.“

“I just recently found out about this GEM of a place. I don't normally like rice but, Lilis rice is fabulous as is all of the food here. Generous portions and excellent prices.“

“Last Sunday my friends and I was looking for a bar to go have a few drinks. We went to Cheers for the first time. Carmen the owner was so welcoming made us feel at home what a gem and legend she is. She is such a wonderful human being. She is not judgemental and makes the environment like you are coming to see mom. My friends and I will be back. “Pretty good take out spot for fish n chips!The interior is a little old, but doesn’t matter because it’s a take out spot anyway! Very friendly service/owner and the fish and chips are great!There are 2 spots inside if you’d like to eat in, but I think it’s meant to be a take out spot.I got the halibut fish and chips and enjoyed it. Would get it again if in the area again!“

“Had been looking forward to visiting for ages, but the restaurant is an hour away from me. Great service. Fish was lovely, chips were delicious and so were mushy peas. Only thing that would have made it better was more selections of diet drink. Interior might need an update soon“

“I tried the Australian Wagyu sliders. For $9, you can get three sliders. Just try one bite and you'll see how they did not cheap out on the quality.

Next, I tried the Chicken sandwich. they were so huge for $7. What's even better, add $2, you can get fries and a drink with it.

Lastly, their Classic Jack was impressive. The owner really source their patties from the best.

I tried their strawberry and chocolate milkshakes too. Both were good but chocolate was the winner for me.“

“I have been on the search for good halal fried chicken and I heard good things about this place. I haven’t been in person yet, I ordered through uber eats. Scarborough has the best fried chicken that I tasted and this is at the top of my list . Only negative thing I’ll say is, I feel like the excess oil could have been drained off, I could literally taste the oil itself when eating the skin.“
