“Haven’t had fish & chips in a long time and the folks at this shop satisfied my cravings. Found in a small, unassuming plaza, this family-owned business is slinging out perfectly fried fish and spuds.

The folks who run this establishment are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The atmosphere here is nostalgic. It feels like I’m in my family’s kitchen from my childhood.

I ordered the halibut and chips for myself, got cod and chips for my brother, and we shared a calamari and gravy. Food was pretty good. Fish tasted buttery and delicate. Batter was thin, crispy, and flavourful. NOT overly greasy, major news! Loved the thick cut fries. The gravy really took them to the next level. Portion sizes are pretty big and these prices are insanely reasonable!

The fish and the batter are second to none as well as the chips ……and I’m from Scotland , so I can be a hard judge so can my mother. We are both very impressed. Also, there’s sides of coleslaw which are made in house that I highly recommend.
I bet if they were to do mushy peas on the side, it would be dynamite too“

“Last Sunday my friends and I was looking for a bar to go have a few drinks. We went to Cheers for the first time. Carmen the owner was so welcoming made us feel at home what a gem and legend she is. She is such a wonderful human being. She is not judgemental and makes the environment like you are coming to see mom. My friends and I will be back. “Had been looking forward to visiting for ages, but the restaurant is an hour away from me. Great service. Fish was lovely, chips were delicious and so were mushy peas. Only thing that would have made it better was more selections of diet drink. Interior might need an update soon“
