Upon discovering a tiny mistake in my order, he immediately brought me a new plate (although I had not complained—the first plate was yummy). The dish I actually ordered was so delicious, but of course now I had too much food, but they expected me to take both pastas home, providing containers before I thought to ask. Then a complimentary tiramisu on top of that! We felt very well taken care of. I don’t expect such special treatment every time but the food was so good we will definitely go back as often as we can.“

“Went to Ciao last night for a birthday/Valentines Day dinner. They had a set menu for the night. Every single thing we ate was beyond delicious!! The plates were so pretty to look at and even better to taste. So much love went into each plate! The Gorgonzola gnocchi melted in your mouth. The meat (on the short ribs) fell right off the bone…don’t even get me started on the cheesecake and chocolate creme brûlée!!! 😍 Mia, our server went above and made the night so much better. Ingredients were so fresh , perfectly done thin crust, big size for a personal size, and a price that would rival a pizza chain. Had a minute to peruse the other Italian specialties in the store while my pizza was freshly prepared and I can’t wait to try other pizzas and their other dishes. Why did I a wait??“

“Been here several times over the last couple of years, it feels like the best place locally to get fresh pasta in GP, especially in the Village/Hill. The food is fresh, flavorful, unique, cooked perfectly, everything you'd expect and want for the cost. They do have a good happy hour that's changed around a few times, it used to be better for drinks and they are ending it earlier at 5pm but it's worth checking out. It can be difficult to get service when it's busy and you're sitting at the bar, plus on a couple of occasions I've seen people get loud and out of hand without any intervention by the management.“

It's not a flavorbomb going to explode in your mouth, it's a steady, relaxed, pleasant trickle of flavor, and that's a good thing. It's a refreshing change of pace. My theory is Nono's relies less on salt and sugar additives, which brings the natural flavors more to the forefront. After enjoying some of Nono's pizza, I feel more calm and relaxed than anything. The entire location was extremely clean dining area, counter, and kitchen all looked well cared for. It was clear the staff work as a team to maintain high standards during a busy lunch period.
