“In Nova Scotia, and just had their 2019 Balam. Easily the best beer I have had, the rich chocolate, the sweet bourbon, and the smooth toffee with the boozy hit, just magical. I wish there is more coming out of this in the coming years, and to get myself to Ontario to enjoy their beer in person.“

“On a trip to Toronto, I found a small brewery behind the house I was staying at and went in. A nice atmosphere where you can drink craft beer in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
I drank Gold Lager, IPA, and Riverside Pilsner.
The atmosphere and the owner's friendliness make the beer even more delicious.
I bought a few cans as souvenirs from Japan, and when I told the owner that I had come from Japan, he gave me a sticker with the store's logo as a gift.
The store's website said that they also had food, but when I went there, they only had snacks.
This is another brewery I would like to visit.“

“My wife and I went to the Steam Whistle brewing for the first time and not only were the beers fantastic we did the tour with Kenny, and it was a great experience. He made it fun, interactive, knowledgeable and was great with everyone. Highly recommend the Steam Whistle and the tour.“

“I came on the recommendation of Daniel, a Brazilian who served us at Osteria Giulia, thanks Daniel!, and I was really surprised by the beers. Until then, my reference point here, in Canada, was Dieu Du Ciel, but this experience was a very pleasant surprise. The variety, complexity and quality of the beers are far above average! Really recommend!“

“Last time I was at Indie Alehouse was during a craft beer crawl with some friends pre-COVID. This time was for a friend's birthday dinner.
I didn't have any beer as I generally try to drink less these days, but my friends love the beer here, and wow was the food great. I got the fried chicken sandwich which was delicious, and the popcorn with rosemary Parmesan is a must try.
Atmosphere is great here! Would definitely recommend.“

“Was there for New Years Eve dinner at around 10pm.
Restaurant looked fantastic. Had a great atmosphere going on, which was nice to see with the World Juniors game playing. We had changed our reservation as we were at the PWHL game and thought it would run late, but it did not and they were still able to accommodate our original reservation.
We were seated promptly but took our server about 15 mins to get to our table for us to order. I was a little disappointed that they went to a "Late Night" restricted menu, especially given it was New Years eve.
We ordered burgers (I had the Liberty Burger) The items on the burger (onions, mushrooms, cheese and arugula) all tasted fresh and fantastic. A little too much mayo on my burger, but that is merely a preference. The flavour of the smoky mayo was awesome.
The beef patty though I feel like it wasn't fresh. Very much a "frozen" taste and look to it. Very tough and chewy. That's what dropped the food down to a 4 Star for me.
All in all, it was a good meal. While service was slow to start, they ended the night well. I would definitely come back to try the full menu.“

“Absolutely great brewhouse and restaurant! I've tried 2 different IPA's and both were great beers. The Juice Island IPA being my preferred choice. Dinner was delicious with a starter of the Caprese Salad and the Brisket Poutine topped with crispy fried onions and pickled red onions. My partner ordered the equally great and somewhat unique Tuna Power Bowl. The Ahi tuna was cooked to perfection, the flavours and ingredient mix was not your typical bowl mix. Great staff, fast service and a nice patio for an enjoyable early evening dinner in Toronto.“

“There is only one pub of two nearby I am willing to go if I want a drink or 4 to unwind from busy work stretches. If they’re both closed I go home because nothing beats the craft &care these folks provide in their service every time! They have an amazing (and small) selection of snacks & more filling dishes, always served to consistent satisfaction & perfection. The menu changes seasonally and there is a fridge with seasonally changing options if you just want to stop by for a smile and some cans to bring home. My favorite wheat beer to date exists only on tap here, ‘there’s always money in the banana stand’ comparable to sidelaunch wheat but if sidelaunch wheat were to have birthed baby Jesus in beer form. That’s THB for you, I have been spoiled with their standards. They’re also extremely humble and they treat you like the neighbours you wish were your actual neighbours who live next door. There’s trivia nights on recent Tuesdays most weeks too!
Vegetarian options: Cheeses & olives are my fav meatless snacks ❤️ often available in the fridge to go when the kitchen is closed!
Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids of the four legged variety PLEASE!“

“I love this establishment that's been in Toronto for 30+ years! They don't make pubs like these anymore. The staff are so nice and there is a lot of space if you want to come in with a group. Not to mention, a very fun pop culture trivia that happens monthly here on a Wednesday. The menu is big but it caters to all walks of life. Looking forward to the next visit already :)“

“Highly recommend the the Greenwood IPA! Best juicy IPA ever!
Also love Grape Concord Sour and the Cherry Pie sour.
Also coming back soon is our favourite beer ever, stay tuned for the Punk Lemonade Sour.
The atmosphere of this location is much more relaxed and definitely has a community vibe.
Definitely love the open space, perfect place to watch the Super Bowl!
