“I had such a lovely experience at Lamont Café Village! I ordered a cappuccino and pasta with rose sauce — both were delicious. The cappuccino was rich and perfectly frothed, and the pasta had a creamy, flavorful sauce that tasted fresh and homemade. My daughter had the turkey wrap and absolutely loved it — it was light, tasty, and nicely presented. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I went to NutTea (they specialize in non-dairy nut mylk teas) and I was impressed. They offer Chinese-style milk teas, matcha, and more. Their novelty is the nut cream they add on top.

I ordered the seasonal Strawberry Matcha with Nut Cream (matcha base + strawberry nut cream). The matcha is water-based, so you’re supposed to stir the cream in. I got mine with 50% ice and lowest sugar. It was still pretty sweet because of the cream, but the cream was tasty and you’d hardly realize it’s not dairy.

My friend ordered the Matcha with Pistachio Nut Cream which is highly recommended.

The sandwich was spot on, and their bagels are a must-try too — simple, fresh, and delicious. The service was excellent, and I loved relaxing on the clean outdoor patio surrounded by trees. “The owner is so nice, and really knowledgeable about Pu-Erh teas. He is patient, and the food he makes is amazing! The prices for the teas and food is reasonable (student budget friendly lmao). I remember when this was at a different location down the street and he had chalkboard menus - updated now and looks awesome. Interior decor is 100% instagramable with the arwork and the wood seating. You gotta come here at least once if you're around here, it's worth it.“

“Stopped by on a whim to order a hot drink. I ended up with a matcha latte and a chocolate pistachio cookie. They really know what they’re doing here! Super impressed with the quality of the beverage and food.
I wasn’t expecting the cookie to be soft and not too sweet (big compliment to the baker). It was actually a Dubai chocolate style cookie with pistachio cream and knaffeh, with a layer of dark chocolate on top.“

The coffee is good, a bit dark for my liking.
The savory scones are to die for. I am always late. You can call in the morning and ask them to save any pastry you may be craving.

It’s a family run restaurant, the chef father makes so delicious and juicy bagel&sandwich, the cookies baked by the son are also very impressive 😍😍😍 what is more impressive is the price, All Day Breakfast:a bagel with a coffee , only costs 5.99CAD, 6.77 after tax. Nowadays this price can only buy a cup of coffee in Toronto 😅😅 A bagel alone like that would cost at least 12 CAD!!!! When I firstly saw the ad saying All- Day Breakfast 5.99 on the wall, I thought that must be a scam😂😅 Buz similar meal like that in the campus food trucks are at least twice the price. “People say hidden gem and whatnot but this is the only place I'd really miss in this area. You legit cannot get better coffee in Toronto, coffee island is probably the only one on this level. A small crew means it's always high quality and the food is nice. Just order ahead if you are in a hurry and spanikopita goes fast so have a backup order in mind. Looking forward to trying the new sandwiches. Personal favorites: oat cap, oat chai, spanikopita, sausage egg muffin. If you combine this coffee with the bagel place up the street you'll have the best lunch ever.“

“I was having a stressful day ,far from good or smooth. This changed by going into a cafe I knew nothing about. The decor was stunning, the face that greeted me was beautiful and welcoming. “I've heard nothing but good things about this cafe on social media, and decided I had to check it out for myself. First of all, the location is amazingly close to UTSG campus. Consequently, it is often very busy during and after school hours. However, the space is large and provides tons of seating options, although I do think students would benefit from an additional table or two to allow writing/drawing, etc.

Onto the food and beverages, we tried three items and all three tasted great! My friend was practically in love with her ube matcha latte, and the brownie did not fall short either! I felt that my iced london fog tasted almost identical to the one I got from Dark Horse Cafe, and I also realized that they sold some of the same pastries!

Overall, I loved spending my weekday morning here before my classes, and I highly recommend this cafe as a study spot for students in Toronto.“

“Excellent little café with a welcoming and aestheticly pleasing atmosphere. Good options for roasted coffee and the service is excellent. It does seem like coffee around the city is getting more expensive and you definitely feel it if you pick up a bag of roasted coffee, but that isn't unique to this location. At least you get a premium experience here for paying a premium. The intersection here can get loud at times since drivers dont know what to do here. There is occasional honking.“
