“Was greeted like a local by Heather who looked after us royally, even sourcing a mug despite initially saying they had none. The extensive menu catered more than adequately for our lunch which arrived speedily and was delicious along with a couple of pints of Guinness. Would thoroughly and happily recommend. Only sorry I probably won't have to time to return.“

“I loved this pub so much I got married here! We had a small ceremony (20 people) on the dreamy back patio and a medium reception (55 people) on the upper floors. Steve and his staff were a dream to work with. I won't get into all the details but it was like working with a proper wedding planning team with the benefit (and cost!) of a casual, cozy pub wedding. Everyone raved about the food and the staff.“

“Came on Friday to watch the Scotland vs. Morocco game. Arrived about one hour prior to the game to make sure we got a seat. One thing though was our table had not been cleaned up or wiped before we sat down. It was sticky from the previous people's drinks. So, that was not great.

Food was really good. I had the smash burger from Cork and my partner had the spice bag. Both were absolutely delicious. The spice bag curry sauce was so good.

Had a great time. Great place to watch a game. For the amount of people there I am surprised they didn't have more staff working. Our finished plates sat for about an hour after we finished and drink service was slow. But we expected this as we figured it would be insanely busy for the world cup game, which it was. Would come back.“

“We decided to go there for a late lunch the other day after our Irish son-in-law suggested that this was possibly the best place in town to try an Irish spice bag. It certainly didn’t let us down. The food came fairly rapidly and was extremely fresh. Our waiter, Cameron was extremely helpful in recommending that the spice bag could easily satisfy two hungry adults. Washing this down with a nice pour of Guinness was the best thing you could imagine.

The atmosphere was terrific. There was a band playing in the background. They were doing contemporary music as a two-piece band. This made for a very enjoyable afternoon. We chose to stay at the back of the restaurant where it was a little quieter, enabling us to carry on a conversation.

“If good times had a headquarters, it would be the Lucky Clover. We came in for “just one pint” and somehow left several laughs later, and I’d made at least three new best friends. The staff are super friendly have that rare magic where you walk in for a drink and accidentally stay longer than anticipated. Absolutely fell in love with Claudia and Dana. Best spot in town.
