“I haven’t had Popeyes for a hot minute but was craving a fried chicken sandwich. Downloaded the app and had a free nugget offer. The chicken sandwich was yummy but what I wasn’t expecting was the nuggets! They were so fresh and crispy! The fries were delicious and had a warm buttery biscuit to top off the meal! I’m sure the calories were a lot but it was well worth it! Staff were attentive and the store was well kept. Thank you Popeyes!“

“The place offers an okay environment overall. It’s a decent spot, but I noticed a lot of people sitting and talking for extended periods, which made the atmosphere feel a bit stagnant at times. That said, it wasn’t a bad experience—just outstanding“

“Enjoyed some Popeyes for lunch and was very impressed with the service and the food was delicious! Areeba took my order and was very lovely and communicated when my order would take a few minutes be ready. I was told that this location is under new management so whatever they're doing, they are doing it right!“

“The food was good overall. I really enjoyed the wings, coleslaw, and especially the biscuits. The fountain drinks were good too. The staff were friendly and pleasant.

The main downside was the wait time. It took quite a while for the food to come out, and we were left waiting for some time. I’m guessing the wings are prepared fresh when you order them, unlike some of the other chicken pieces that may already be ready. If that’s the case, the wait is understandable, but it would still be nice to know when ordering.“

“This is one of many Popeyes location that is spacious, quiet and clean
Running by it seems like they are brothers and sisters siblings, always very friendly and efficient. I often request more drumsticks and they never disappoint me. That been said not all Popeyes are as up to their standards but this location is very good.
I think many people would agreed with me that Popeyes is their favourite fried chicken in this world.“

“I come here pretty often, and honestly the food is always fresh and really tasty. I just wanted to mention the cashier who works in the evening , she genuinely so nice and friendly every time I see her. She always greets with a smile and makes the whole experience feel welcoming. Little things like that really matter. Definitely one of the reasons I keep coming back.“

“Normally was not a fan of fried chicken or fried food. But this was phenomenal, food was made with nothing but pure effort and taste, service was absolutely through the roof. “Service with a smile from Jimmy & I feel like I got a steal of a deal with their $5.99 Big Deal Combo. My combo included a chicken slider (spicy), small fries, a biscuit & a small soft drink. With taxes it came to $6.77. Great value & everything came out hot & fresh. I only had to wait about 5 minutes for my food. The line was reasonable considering it was a Saturday around 5pm. There was only maybe 5 other people behind me but the cashier Jimmy was very efficient. And the team at the back appeared to be working just as efficient to get orders out as well.“

“This Danforth location has restored our faith in Popeyes. We talked with Bhoomika on the phone as we had a couple questions prior to ordering. Bhoomika was very nice and polite. She followed our introductions perfectly. The food and service from this location was excellent. Thank u Bhoomika for ur excellent service. We will only order from ur location in the future. Our last two orders prior where from the Kingston Rd location and they where terrible.“

“I had the ghost pepper chicken sandwich tonight after a hard night of Uber work. The sandwich was exceptional as well as the popcorn shrimp that they had served with barbecue sauce. I got to tell you that the sandwich and the shrimps were exceptional. They were not too greasy and they were well made. I wanted to thank Saad, Grishma and Saima for cooking a delicious chicken for me. As of now I am going to come for the chicken breast sandwich to Popeyes. Through their professionalism and awesome cooking talents they made me a long term Popeyes costumer.

Parking: It is street parking and it is awesome. Even though it is on the street parking but they don't give you a ticket.“

“Good food and great value for the price. Sometimes the line can be a bit long, but it's worth it once you get that first bite of chicken sandwich. The fries and coleslaw are also really good. I just wish they added a few more dipping sauce options.“

I placed my usual order—spicy fried chicken with a side of red beans and rice, and of course, a biscuit. The restaurant was clean, the staff was polite, and I placed my usual order. Thumbs-up guys

“This place had one cashier and one cook at the back. So busy at the time i went. The man at the front had to take orders and pack food for orders while running around to grab things in the back. He remained calm without being angry when people were waiting a long time. It would of been better to have two people to manage at dinner but who knew it gets busy and the ttc kicked all of us out of the subway due to track injuries so we all got out to find some food for dinner instead of waiting in the rain outside. It was the longest wait for my mobile order at popeyes. I never ordered in advance online until that time.“

“I just went and got a burger combo for take out today (June 8th, 2026 around 12pm). The cashier who took my order (their name tag read Meriam or Mariam) was so so so so so so welcoming and nice. She was clear when letting me know that the choices for sides include more than just the fries.“

“The store was jammed packed today and the one cashier took all the customers and orders diligently. Like wow superb. Food tasted like popeyes and was good. Would come back. Its an A++++. It says under new management and i see and hope they are in the right direction.“
