“Loved the atmosphere and overall vibe at Unplug including service. I ordered chicken lollipop as an appetizer, along with a drink, fries, chapati, and Mughlai chicken for the main course. Everything was nice and well-presented. However, I personally felt that the Mughlai chicken was very creamy and slightly lacking in flavour. I’m not sure if that’s the intended taste, but it didn’t feel very authentic to me.
A small suggestion: when serving authentic Indian dishes, it might help to ask guests what kind of flavour profile they prefer. Some customer might be expecting a more traditional, spiced Indian-style curry rather than a milder, creamier version and don’t know which one they should order.
Just sharing this as feedback. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and the place has a great ambiance.“

“We came to this restaurant on a Saturday night as a larger group and came away very satisfied. The food was well prepared and delicious. There was enough variety that everyone ordered something different. One surprise was that there weren't more ramen noodle soup options. As the night was busy, it seemed there might have been a shortage of wait staff. But when they came, they were cordial and attentive. The only thing was the background music was a bit loud making it hard to talk. Otherwise, we recommend this place to others.“

“We decided to try something new tonight and are so happy we did. Food, drinks and vibes were immaculate. Reminds us of the cool neighbourhoods of younger days gone by. Cocktails are unique and so good. Food was excellent, especially the creamy curry udon. Great date night spot.“

“Gabbys Danforth.... Rude staff and an even more rude owner... don't bother complaining about anything because you're just going to get cussed at... absolutely appalling behavior... the usual crowd are loud obnoxious and seriously over their limits. I've witnessed tables and chairs falling all over the place on many occasions because people are way too intoxicated to think. The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!“

“I recently visited this place with a friend, and I must say, it was a pleasant experience. The food was undeniably good, and the service was nice and attentive. The restaurant itself was clean, including the restrooms, which is always a plus. The dark, moody vibe inside adds to the ambiance, creating a cool setting.
The food arrived in a timely manner, and I enjoyed a peach sake, which was delicious, though the drinks are a bit on the pricier side. However, the food prices are reasonable, and they offer a variety of local drinks, which is great. The chef seems dedicated to accommodating diners, which is a nice touch.

“My friends and I have now been going to Gabby's for quite a few times, maybe about 6 by now, usually on Sundays. The last couple of times have been on a Friday and Monday. We are mostly handicapped, using walkers or a wheelchair. I usually make the reservation, and specify a table near the lovely large windows. It has never been a problem on Sundays, but there seems to be one waitress who objects to our sitting near the window as we will "block" the servers. It is difficult enough being handicapped never mind having a surly woman telling us we are a problem. So, maybe this woman doesn't work on Sundays. We love this restaurant and the food and atmosphere is so great, usually. Most disappointing.“

“We recently signed up for the meal delivery program and cannot say enough good things! The food is really tasty. We eat a lot of Indian and Mexican food so we were concerned that the food might not be as flavourful as we are used to eating, but it far exceeded my expectations! The website is very easy to use from my phone. The salads are great because they allow me to eat raw veggies that I might not otherwise prepare for myself. I’ve already noticed an improvement in my digestion. The containers the food is in are durable and reusable/recyclable. The delivery is always on time. Once there was a very small mixup and I was immediately sent an additional complimentary entree delivered to my door. What a wonderful company, that I wish I had discovered sooner!“

“We truly enjoyed a leisurely lunch today at Kelsey's Richmond Hill. We need to give a lot of the credit and thanks to our server, Sarah, who was always there when we needed her. She provided us with some excellent suggestions for food and drinks as well as impeccable service coming from a warm and friendly person. While my wife was thoroughly enjoying a cup of tea and a hearty soup with salad and a sandwich, I was just beside myself with every bite of the mushroom melt burger. The burger and fries were prepared and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend that you try this burger, especially if you love mushrooms. Treat yourself. I was also introduced to a delicious refreshing beer called Muskoka Pineapple Ninja. I've never seen it before and it appears that if I can't find anywhere else I'll have to go back. All in all, this was a perfect afternoon. Also, we have promised ourselves that we are going to do this again next week.“

“The vibe is wonderful. Hundred percent fit for friends group chilling. The combo, including alcohol n snacks is great, reasonable pricing. And the food is actually not bad. Beer u can kinda taste it might mix with water cuz pretty light. The whiskey is good. I prefer the whiskey ice tea over beer a lot. The staff is nice just not the front desk girl. When we walk in, she said they are full booking. We completely understand, even a bit disappointed, we r gonna search up another bar nearby. And then the next second she said she forgot they have second level which is empty😂 I was like what, how can you forget that. At the end, when we leave, we still don see they are full, lmao“

“The food tasted excellent — it was very fresh and flavourful, and the portion sizes were abundant. They also had a photo booth, which was a fun way to capture memories with my friends. I highly recommend this restaurant and I’ll definitely be coming back!“
“We couldn't have asked for a better place for Easter brunch. Everything was top notch, freshly prepared. We loved the variety of smoothies that were included with the brunch. Along with the haddock beurre blanc, buttermilk fried chicken and roasted veggie wraps. They also had an omelette station, continental breakfast choices as well as pasties, dessert bars, cereal, juices, coffee and tea. The Easter brunch buffet was $35 a person and it was definitely stellar.“

“We had a emo themed birthday celebration on the weekend and we picked the evening slot (8pm-3am). My friends and I had a great time singing, dancing and snacking. The staff was very accomodating, friendly and helpful. They also gave us a nice treat from the house which was a very sweet touch :). We had a lot of fun memories. Highly recommended for friend-get-together. We will defenitely comback to try some of their other snacks as it was sold out.“
“We went to the bar yesterday and loved how clean it was—no weird smells at all! The staff were super friendly. When we first walked in, the music was pretty loud, but they quickly turned it down for us, which was nice. They have karaoke too, and the sound system is awesome. The chicken wings were really tasty! I’ll definitely be back next time. Overall, it was a great experience!“

“Had a great time with our group! Our room looked really nice with the lights.
Disappointed a bit though because 1. I called to reserve a room and after calling the next day to confirm, they couldn’t find my reservation. Thankfully they still had a room. And 2. The rooms use YouTube to stream so you can’t queue up songs, or change the key and other functions like at other karaoke places. They don’t even have premium so you’ll get ads in between.“

“Went in with 4 other friends for a medium room of Karaoke around 10PM.For our first time here, we had the pleasure of Zach being our server and his service was amazing. He walked us through how everything worked, how to pick songs using the machine, offered to hook up a laptop if we preferred using YouTube.Finding specific English songs was a bit difficult since it wasn't possible to filter for only English however Chinese and Korean seemed to be fine. The atmosphere and audio quality was decent. Their price for us was $50/hr for the whole group.Just want to give another shoutout to Zach for being super helpful and patient with us!“

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

“This specific location is one of me and my partner’s go to spots. Not just because the meat is prepared better here, but because of Deborah’s service. She always greets us at the door and remembers every tiny details. Moving the chairs so we can sit same side, provides us extra chili powder (highly recommend to sprinkle this on every piece of meat), “everything the same?” after we place our order and our excitement for the complimentary marshmallows at the end. Deborah goes above and beyond for this location. Shoutout to her for always carrying the whole restaurant on her back.“
