“We came on Wednesday around 1 pm. It was not too busy and surprisingly in most restaurants the less customers the worse the service gets so we were really delighted when we had food and service which was 10 out of 10. Our server was Zoran and he gave us maximum level attention and care. Our food, I ordered wings and fries and my friend ordered chicken sandwich and fries, was hot and delicious. Our desserts were delightful. Thank you very much, Zoran for your excellent service and thanks to the chefs for the great Swiss Chalet food. It was a perfect dining experience and we are both so grateful.“

“We truly enjoyed a leisurely lunch today at Kelsey's Richmond Hill. We need to give a lot of the credit and thanks to our server, Sarah, who was always there when we needed her. She provided us with some excellent suggestions for food and drinks as well as impeccable service coming from a warm and friendly person. While my wife was thoroughly enjoying a cup of tea and a hearty soup with salad and a sandwich, I was just beside myself with every bite of the mushroom melt burger. The burger and fries were prepared and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend that you try this burger, especially if you love mushrooms. Treat yourself. I was also introduced to a delicious refreshing beer called Muskoka Pineapple Ninja. I've never seen it before and it appears that if I can't find anywhere else I'll have to go back. All in all, this was a perfect afternoon. Also, we have promised ourselves that we are going to do this again next week.“

“Great location and the food was made and cooked perfectly. As always got the four cheese spinach dip and hubby and me decided on burgers. Both were cooked and plated to perfection. Fries are a nice thick cut fry and cooked decently, but I would ask for well done next time as I prefer my fries a bit more crispy. Our server could of replenished our drinks before we finished eating, but it wasnt the end of the world. Just decided to not buy an additional round of drinks as we were pretty much done eating. As a customer thats okay, as a business owner they missed out on the upsale of a second round.“

the early days of a new baby the sudden accumulation of mass, the chaos of a shifting space, and the exhausting effort of trying to organize a new chapter.

I spent the afternoon helping an old friend and ex-colleague declutter her home, trying to help her find some structural order so this new phase of her life can actually begin.

Amidst that heavy lifting, we broke for lunch at Swiss Chalet. It is rare that a legacy institution delivers exactly what you need when you need it, but the execution today was seamless. We both ordered the Monday special, complete with the nostalgic utility of the finger bowls, but the true anchor of the meal was the staff.

We were looked after by two waitresses who managed a shift change mid-meal so fluidly it was entirely imperceptible. Their energy was lovely, efficient, and thoroughly ego-free. They provided an environment that didn’t demand anything from us, allowing us the rare room to just breathe, catch up, and celebrate the new baby.

Huge thanks to the staff today for making an exceptional, stress-free space for two old friends to reconnect.“

“My family went at Kelsey’s for lunch last Friday and the service was amazing. We had a issue with our daughter’s usual order and she wanted MAC & cheese with something else so they went to ask the owner (Steve) and he came to our table and he resolved our issue and explained to us what my daughter can order with the mac & cheese and he was very polite and kind to us and continuously kept checking on us at our table to make everything is great with us and our order. I will also like to thank Dave and Shafik as well for going the extra mile to solve our issue by getting the right person to help us. We always come to Kelsey’s if we are going out for dinner or to celebrate something and each time the service and food are always excellent and I would recommend others to experience Kelsey’s food and services. Food was good, portions were generous but most of all Caroline, our server made us feel like we were not just customers but apart of the family. Her energy and enthusiasm was unmatched. “There are so many Filipino products in this store, they almost have everything I crave! From a wide variety of foods to groceries, it’s like a little piece of home. The food servings are also very generous, which I really appreciate. I love that they offer money remittance services as well. Definitely a great place to shop!“

“After grocery we always go out for lunch and i find Swiss chalet good for my Boss who has Gluten restrictions. Some food are gluten free so its always great to come back for more delicious meal! Plus the promo or combo are very satisfying!“
